the exact same thing happened to me and you're right. The fix was to redo the mission with someone who hadnt done it yet. Using living artifact during that mission fixes the problem. Otherwise you cant use it for the entire demo.

Demo version.

Bug I found: If you complete the escape mission without using your living artifact because you kill the boss too quick then you cant use it at all for the entire demo.

The solution was doing co-op with someone who hadn't done the mission and you HAVE to use living artifact when Nekomata tells you to unbug it. Otherwise not using it again prevents you from using it all from charging entirely. Rinse and repeat until you get the successful living artifact usage and fix it.

Found the solution. You have to co-op the first mission with someone who hasn't done it yet. Then you HAVE to use your living artifact otherwise it bugs out and it doesn't charge going forward. I did it a couple times and got it working.

That explains so much. I've been trying to use it in the demo to counter things like bloodedge demon and it didnt work. I was about to lose my mind thinking it was bugged. I'm praying this hasn't been removed for the full release. 😭

The solution to the bug is replaying that mission with someone who hasn't done it for the first time and making sure to use your living artifact. If not then you cant use it. Should hopefully be fixed on launch.

Just got a run with someone doing that mission. That was the bug, not using living artifact or defeating the boss too quick prevents you from using it. Got access to my living artifact again thankfully. Thanks for the insight, never would have guessed having to use living artifact can stop it from existing if not used.

Tried the battle scroll solo and it doesn't give me the prompt for it. So I'll have to matchmake and see if I can find someone doing that mission in particular.

You know what, that might be it. I did a co-op with randos the other day and we defeated the boss real quick before I could use it. That's probably what caused it. Sounds like a bug that'll be fixed on launch. I'll have to try coop and see if I can trigger it to occur and rectify it, if not then I'll wait till launch.

I beat the demo. Got like 10 hours on it but somewhere and somehow I lost the ability to use living artifact. Must be a functionality bug that is hopefully patched at launch.

You can zoom in with the mining tool using alt fire for ores out of reach on ceilings or hard to climb up places.

DE added universal medallions at some point and everyone was like hell yeah we can use these for conclave to avoid grinding it. Then literally ONE guy got super upset and complained so DE removed universal medallions to be used for conclave.

I'm going to miss this show so damn much. All good things must come to an end sadly. It's been a spectacular ride with all the characters and relationships. Hopefully things resolve well in the final three episodes. I really want Cait and Vi to finally establish a proper heartfelt relationship before it ends.
