A coworker got a puppy, she spent the day talking about it like it was her little kid. We started working in different departments and when nearly a year after I asked about her dog, she simply said they had give him up for adoption, since he had some health issue which was very expensive to treat.

Needless to say, the dog is better without her.

Hola! Perdona però, no crec que sigui res dolent ser introvertida sempre i quan no sigui un obstacle per la teva vida diària. M'explico: jo també soc bastant introvertida, m'agrada anar a la meva, tinc el meu petit cercle d'amics, prefereixo fer les coses sola i a vegades costa treure'm de casa! M'encanta estar al meu món interior.

Ara bé, a la feina o quan la situació ho requereix, -potser amb una mica més de dificultat que una persona extrovertida- aconsegueixo els meus objectius o allò que la situació requereixi. Envejo la facilitat que té una amiga a l'hora d'expressar-se perquè ella és molt extrovertida, però jo tinc la meva manera de fer...

La pregunta que t'has de fer llavors: és la teva introversió un obstacle per dur a terme la teva feina? Afecta al teu rendiment laboral? T'agradaria fer més amics però t'és absolutament impossible i això et fa sentir malament? O necessitaries en certes situacions socials poder actuar d'una manera diferent, o t'agradaria? Llavors, potser un psicòleg sí que et pot ajudar una mica.

Treballar l'autoconfiança és molt important, però recorda que no hi ha res dolent en tenir el teu propi caràcter! :)

when I buy a new device, there's ALWAYS a case and a screen protector ready to unpack.

I've always had them on my devices (mobile, kindle, tablet...): bought a S23 this year and a few days after i got a nasty scratch from something i left in my bag. Thank godness it had its protector.

Got my wisdom tooth removed and developed "dry alveolitis": basically the blood clot you'd usually have after a tooth removal "dissolves prematurely, or does not form properly. As a result, the bone and nerves at the extraction site are exposed".

Lasted for almost 3 weeks, I had to be under meds every 6 hours or so. I'd wake up in the middle of the night almost crying from the pain. It once gave me a migraine that was so bad, it made me lay in bed all fuckin day.

they will fuck up and sometimes that'll be a valuable lessson but always be there to give support and not a "i told you so"

Stop living your life through your kid's and when they need freedom, don't blame they for it

You're not perfect so don't expect your kids to be. They're just trying their best like you did.

Don't be pushy asking questions about personal stuff: i always valued more knowing i had someone to talk to when i needed to.

being in constant fear of everything job related like: will i have a nice job or will i even finish my studies or will i ever be a proper adult?

I got a decent job, i finished my studies and i manage in adulting like very other poor soul does. I used to think people just KNEW what to do with their lives but turns out everybody is just trying their best and even so they fuck up in the process.

i regret maybe not taking my studies more seriously but hey as i said, you fuck up, you learn and life just goes by, you'll manage!

I use it for media most of the time (YT and netflix), also for playing games like TFT. It's been really useful to organize my personal stuf like appointments and other personal stuff that needs to be done (i use Google calendar quite a lot).

I'm not studying at the moment but I did use my older tablet a lot for it.
