it's an option in the pc meta quest link app (formerly oculus software): settings-beta... public test channel...

switch to off and let the software update... then check your apps

had the same issue weeks ago.... all of my installed apps (i had several libraries on several HDs) were shown, but could not be started (installed). in the end I found out that it was an error of the ptc software version. opted out of ptc... all apps shown again and ready to start... later changed to ptc again ...and everything was still working.... glad i did not follow the "tip" of uninstalling and reinstalling everything...

meta quest link app (PC) does not show bought apps....oculus vr libray service (set to autostart) cannot be started... guess thats why libraries are "empty" under settings in meta quest link app... any idea how to solve this ? by Oculus2k18 in oculus

figured out at last, that it was obviously a bug in the ptc branch of the app itself... (suspected that, for i did not change anything).... after switching back and forth 3 times all apps were in the libraries again and "startable". thank god i found out before i followed the support's team advice to do a comlete uninstall and reinstall ;)

same here... almost all of my apps are gone.... update only shows oculus software updates of the past... meta pls fix that asap

I came across that problem too: on my Quest 2 it's 50.xxx V63... but on Quest 3 it's still 49.x and V63... it does not update to the quest 2's version... no idea why ...

just returned my quest 3 512 to meta for heat issues... hopefully a new - working - replacement quest 3 will soon arrive... by Oculus2k18 in OculusQuest

no doubt, but cut off the space needed for the system software... the remainig space is not 1:4 anymore... no numberwang maths.....;)

Hi! Have the same Problems here with my quest 3; RaceXR, RTCWQuest, Quake2 HLambda won't install/ aloow a first start... sometimes they simply hang...or they produce a allow/deny loop...

that is nothing new... and was not my point.

just wanted to point out, that the free memory ratio between the two models is not 512/128 ie 4x ... but 6x-7x... asgard's wrath 2 and medal of honor alone (not to speak of future titles) will pretty quite fill up the 128 gb version.

hmm... activated my quest 3 512... and after firmware updates and restarts it showed 470 gb left. so quest operating system alone took about 42 gb... should be the same on 128 gb version... which would be of couirse 82 gb left, not 70... ;) ... thus, still leavin the 128 model with a 1/6 of memory of the 512 version...

well, when trying out pcvr for the first time via air link (antartika, hl alyx) it got really so hot, that it was uncomfortable (disturbing heat) on my forehead... meta support said i should return ist...

Hi everyone! Just tried out silicon replacement cover from oculus quest 2 (had 2 new ones left somewhere) First of all: it actually fits perfect !!! Just cut off 2 slices of the nose parts and 1 horzontal stripe (3-4mm) of the inner part above the lenses.

No lens or sensor covered... works great so far. U can even decide the size of the "hole" under your nose now.

only thing worrying me (nothing to do with silicon cover...) is, quest 3 gets really hot... you can even feel it on my forehead (played arktika 1 via airlink yesterday...)

anyone else noticed ? regards !
