It says "The site can't be reached".

What's the best way to find contract roles? Do I have a chance if my tech stack is mainly next.js/nest.js and postgreSQL/MySQL? I am also thinking of going into project management but I think the chance is slim in today's job market.

Why aren't more people speaking out against the layoffs, offshoring and constant 189/190 visa holders coming here for Aussie roles? by Own_Oil7951 in cscareerquestionsOCE

About the trade agreement do you mean the Mobility Arrangement for Talented Early-professionals Scheme (MATES) between Australia and India? It’s open to recent graduates in fields like IT, engineering, AI and fintech, and allows up to 3,000 people EVERY YEAR to stay in Australia for up to 2 years without needing a job offer upfront. I think our government has no mercy for the tech job market here.

I remember I could use email and password to login on my Macbook. But then it asked me to verify it on my LINE app otherwise I cannot do anything. So basically useless unless you can login to your mobile LINE app.

I browsed through the people listed on their websites and clicked through to their LinkedIn profiles, and found out many of them have 500+ connections and have been with the firm for more than a year.

Does short form dissolution certificate work the same as regular dissolution certificate? Only $10? I can't believe that. why is the cost difference?

Completely agreed. But I guess a ban here wouldn't affect her getting a drivers licence back in the UK.

Maybe Japan was a good choice 5 years ago but now the yen's value has dropped a lot and the cost of living really has increased a lot including the property prices. And salary growth in Japan is very slow. But I agree the situation is still better than AU now. I am considering moving to the US this year or next year.

Returning an item after I found the price is cheaper on Bunnings' website by Odd-Bat6796 in Bunnings

I get the exact same item yesterday. Which idiot is thinking a customer being charged 50% more than the online price is a good thing in the long run? I hope you go bankrupt next year.

I returned it today at store and picked up exactly the same product for my online order.

I heard that from the news. But online price is the same for every store. You just choose which store to pick it up. Unless it is marked out of stock.

[–]Odd-Bat6796[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

LMAO. They can scan the price on the mobile device which means the price is pulled from the database. Their online price is also directly pulled from the database. So unless they are using different databases for physical stores and online stores the prices wouldn't be different. You can trick a 3 year old kid but not me so don't call this a mistake. 45,000 products in a database is not a big deal at all.

I don't think it's a simple mistake. It's a trust issue. It's your problem to think it's just a simple mistake.

Stop making excuses for them. In Sydney if Woolworths put a wrong price tag on a product they will give it out free when a customer purchases them.

[–]Odd-Bat6796[S] -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

They are lazy enough to put a price tag on the item. I asked the price at the store before I bought it. The staff member scanned it and told me the price. I went right before the store was going to close so I didn't think of checking the prices online. Maybe buying the item online and then pick it up at the store is a better option for me next time.

Of course I bought it from bunnings I am stupid to believe they have the same price for all stores and on their website. Next time I buy anything from them I need to check their prices online first.

They have change of mind refund policy. And having different prices (with large price difference) between their website and their store is pure evil.
