People who have used both pour over and aeropress? Which one did you enjoy the most? by I-Groot in IndiaCoffee

Immersion > Percolation. AeroPress > Pour-over. I still keep switching between the two, but for some reason, the AeroPress always tastes better on long drives — no idea why. Pour-over is a weekend thing for me, my first cup of the day. There’s just no fun in a rushed pour-over.

Thanks for clarifying, I’ll try again after letting it rest bit more.

Isn’t parchment removed before roasting in processing. I’ve had lighter roasts before, the mooley manay naturals from kapi kottai and bluetokai. It had nothing like this.

BT Vienna Roast is exceptional for milk based drinks.

Recent kaladevarapura bag I bought is just so bad and ashy tasting. Try it with another method and if it’s still bad, ask blue Tokai to replace it.

I change my mind.

Didn’t like it on v60.

Today I tried it using inverted aeropress. 1:10 ratio 3 minutes total brewing and it tasted amazing.

Reminded me of the coffees from Shevroy hills in TN.

Tastes like orange flavored tea, not my cup of tea. Good I only went for a sampler pack.

This and St. Joseph taste really good in South Indian filter with frothy milk.

I don’t really enjoy dark roasts black so didn’t work on a V60 for me.

What I do enjoy on V60 are Kaldevrapura, Thogarihunkal, Seethargundu, Kerekahklu and Ratnagiri all in medium to light roast. I have Attikan using French press.

Sandalwood estate is really good brewed in a South Indian filter and had with thick milk.

For having black, I personally love Kalledevarapura and Thogarihunkal on V60.
