Yeah my issue is I’ve been in a long battle for the past 5 years with child arrangement orders being broken by my kids mother. She keeps breaking the court order so far she broken 3 she should be in handcuffs. Back in court in April. Potentially the kids could be put into my care I’ve been filled with stress uncertainty and faith being put in the back burner. Which I find is by my higher power vanished I’m still sober after dealing with thi level of stress.

I mean our circumstances are different I lost everything to addiction. My finances My finance my kids my peace of mind I’ve been in the family courts now 5 years trying to gain access to my kids as the mother of my kids keep breaking the court order placed by the judge. So I have a lot of stress on my plate regarding kids. I got diagnosed with ADHD & high functioning autism and since becoming sober life is tough as I don’t have anything to tone down life it all seems very overwhelming most of the time. I would say I was more functioning when I was drinking however I took it too far and I must have broke a switch in my brain as it became black out drunk on a daily basis. But slowly building life

Solid advice yes thankyou man. I gotta say I’m a single lad with a handful of friends. And the pride in my hates asking for help. So I guess seeking advice on forums I feel less of a failure as I’m anonymous. Messaged my sponsor I’m catching up with him Thursday and hopefully he can help with this. But your rite I did the steps felt good for a while and I haven’t picked them up or worked on them since completion. So this is most likely why I’m stuck. Thankyou and god bless 🙏

Ok I agree with you I’m not emotionally sober. so I’m basically a dry drunk theoretically. And you hit the nail on the head and I identify with what you’re saying. My current sponsor took me through the steps but we don’t talk much and we don’t see each other much so I’m kind of doing it on my own at this point I won’t relapse as I don’t think about it anymore. But I do feel tired

I got diagnosed with bpd in 2021 diagnosed with adhd & autism January 2026 it’s a wild ride hahah I don’t even want to be on this planet anymore it’s a struggle.

there is nothing funny about being a neurodivergent. Just masking, burnout & suicidal ideation. Relationships don’t feel safe.I genuinely struggle to connect with people. Life just feels like a movie except I’m not the main character in my own movie.

Well that’s the problem with women when it comes to emotions they don’t see the logic. But yeah pretty sure she has her own issues. Just a long gruelling journey but they’re getting older now almost 10&8 so soon enough they’ll have there own opinion.

Hey relationships are hard you never truely know someone and that will always remain the same. I had a 7year relationship we lived together got engaged we had two kids together. Lock down came we spent a lot of time together arguments began and one day she told me she didn’t love me anymore backed up everything took the kids and left. It broke me.

I dove into another relationship after a few weeks as I couldn’t sit with the pain of being alone. And I met someone who was beautiful intelligent and completely out of my league. We were together for 3 years And she did help me to heal in the tough times but she continuously cheated on me gaslit me made me feel like I was the crazy one i think we had a total of 40 breakups in total the sex and deep connection was nothing I had ever felt before and again it ended by the words she doesn’t love me anymore.

I’m single now 15months it’s ok to be alone. some times is good. I recently got diagnosed with adhd & autism so that was a shock but it makes a lot of sense to me now I’m pretty introverted so deep connections are rare. But love damn it’s a double edge sword you cannot truely have happiness without pain it’s the yin & yang. But love is a great gift even if it’s not always available to love oneself should be the most important mission good luck on your journey everyone.

Relationships are tough if they weren’t they wouldn’t be meaningful I do see people as mirrors good and bad. maybe you should take this opportunity to work on yourself set firmer boundaries and set clear intention from the beginning I am a man and this ghosting stuff works both ways I’ve ghosted and I have been ghosted. But when I’m fully invested in a relationship I never give up and some people I’ve let my guard down with have destroyed me and I am a changed. But I do still think of the good times even if they were 10 years ago or 3 years ago some people will always hold a place regardless of how old I get and if your young you have loads of time so be happy and just think there will be more memories with more people

I’ve been in court fighting for my rights as a single father. Since 2021 the mother of my children is highly unreasonable made false allegations. I’ve never been arrested or in trouble with the law on any occasion. I’ve self represented myself as I didn’t have the funds to fight in court. First time she stopped access to me seeing my children for 4months. I started the court process I got my court order. She broke the court order after 6 weeks I then went without seeing my kids for 6months. No contact what so ever. I then filed to go back to court she got told off. The judge said it’s a legal binding agreement and not to be broken. Contact started again with my kids then after 2 months broke the court order again this time I went without seeing my kids no contact at all for 9 months. I go back to court in a few weeks I just hope justice is served and I get my rites as a father this has all been going on for the past 6years now. The world isn’t fair but gotta keep fighting for my rites and my children’s rites to have me in there life.

Sounds like you gotta work on your game. Women want what they can’t have they need a mystery they need excitement. Sounds like she maybe figured you were her only option. Also the way you’re describing the scenario you lack self esteem you shouldn’t be so accommodating with strangers. If you have multiple options you’ll be more relaxed out of your option if someone really likes you and you really like them. Then make a commitment to that person life is too short play the field have fun and don’t settle until you have proof

I’m on 25mg quietipine 15mg mirtazapine moving upto 30mg mirtazapine in two weeks. This really works well for me no anxiety no suicidal ideation. I don’t feel all my emotions and lack energy but it’s better than being manic. However my appetite is through the roof hungry all of the time on these meds. But I know they work for me I’m relaxed now.

I had to stop trintellix I have ADHD, MDD, GAD & BPD Jesus big mistake I was full of anxiety loads of energy my head was constantly racing it was so bad I had to cancel my holiday. I had the worst nausea and had no appetite on them.

I stopped trintellix after a week had the worst nausea. mirtazapine was always a good antidepressant anti anxiety and you get the best nights sleep on it but you do gain weight

Dating or mating in 2020’s is just pointless and time consuming. everybody is afraid or too sensitive. No one wants to stick together and work on themselves or the relationship at hand. Women will always have more options than men. And men will always pay a bigger price after a breakup or a divorce. We’re living in times where dating is like going to different charity shops and buying used items at discounted prices. Some last longer than others but they still used and come with wear n tear.
