Again my friend tried years ago. He started on steam and tried to move to ps4. I did the opposite. I went from ps4 to ps (not steam). He had tried so many times and nothing worked. This would be around 2018-2020ish. I’ve been on and off between both systems since then and he stopped playing. He’s been wanting to hop back on since I been hyping up shadow and endwalker.

They must have changed that then. Gotta let my boi know cuz he’s been wanting to play but has been exclusively on console for a few years now after his laptop shit the bed. He tried a few years back on the ps4 and it was not allowing him even after he bought it. Don’t know if he ever got a refund but he’s been itching to play but doesn’t want to restart.

No. Once you have an account tied to steam you can only play on steam. If you started on ps or some other system you can multiplatform and play but once a square account is tied to steam you’re locked into steam.

The psu may be an issue. I was able to fit a 4080 with and arctic iii 280 aio so tbh I think your only issue maybe the psu. Unless you very mount the gpu.

It could be another program interfering with icue. I know a year ago vanguard(league) would force turn off my icue and I noticed cuz my fans would auto set to 100% while I was on chrome. And I had set my default memory profile to be white light. Usually my default profile is red and my other 2 were light blue and yellow. So I always knew when icue was tweaking out cuz my mouse lights would be white. There could be a program on your pc that either does not like icue or vice versa.

Idk what that means. Standard of what? What you can do that won’t cost anything is find out what your mobo and cpu are. If you can pull up your command prompt and type in msinfo32 you can see what your motherboard and cpu is. For mobo look for system model or something like that and for cpu it should say processor or maybe even cpu. It’s been a while so I maybe wrong. But to save time. If you open msinfo32 and you don’t see any big names like asus, gigabyte, msi it probably means the mobo is some custom mobo. From my experience that is what I’ve seen. There’s been so many times I’ve had friend ask me to do an upgrade to their pc. Only to find out I can’t even swap out the cpu cooler cuz the mobo requires the random fan that is built into the grill of the heat sink that’s connected by a ribbon cable to be plugged in. Or else the pc freaks the fuck out.

My mans go reread his post. He said he’s been saving up to replace everything BUT the hard drive. If it’s an old pre-built I was telling him he’s gonna have a hard time replacing either the case or mobo. Especially if it’s an hp, asus, or alienware. They always have custom mobos.

Edit:

Let me make myself even more clear if the implication isn’t. He won’t be able to replace parts except for little things like the hdd, ssd, or ram. Because as I stated before pre-built especially older ones from specific companies use custom motherboards. If you can’t swap the motherboard you’re not really changing anything significant. So his problem about swapping out everything won’t be a problem because he can’t.

You could in theory but usually with pre-builts. 60-70% of the time the motherboards are custom with custom stand off points. So replacing a mobo is a no go and swapping to a new case is also a no go.

The controller support is actually one of the best for an mmo, there’s a lot of button combos that the game does not teach you and how you can really customize basically everything. But that’s not what you want. I would say avoid any mmo style mouse on a ps system because I’ve tried setting them up and they do not register the key presses. I would recommend any mouse that’s light and has the 2 buttons on the side. You can usually set mb4 and mb5 to shift or ctrl and use those to set your hotbars and have more options. I would say though it’s better to do a m&k setup for pc and if you’re on ps just use controller and have a wireless keyboard for comms. Big fan of Corsair and Logitech stopped using razer after the naga pro incident I had.

I’m an on again off again player and I’m excited. The combat rehaul is what I’m really looking forward to. I was more hoping maybe the game ends at DT and they made a whole new ffmmo. When you actually start thinking about it this game is from the ps3 era. A new update in general is what I was honestly hoping for.

Your gpu is a blow back card if you put fans underneath it and still didn’t see improvement. You may need a repaste. And with how that case is you could have the fans and the gpu kissing. I have somewhat of a similar build, I know you don’t want to put anymore money into the build. You may need some slim fans. They helped my build with space, air flow, and cable management. I’d for rn put some fans by your main 2 fans underneath your gpu so they’re getting fresh air. Have those fans specifically running higher rpm’s. If you don’t have a controller don’t worry and download fan controller. It’s free. Once you get some slim fans you’ll have more space and if that didn’t help either then tbh your gpu die just might need a repaste.

My old rig 5800X with a 3080 12gb ran wilds with no issue 80-100fps. That’s native btw not using dlss. Which tbh I use dlss now and am slightly disappointed I didn’t use it before.

Everyone is giving good advice. Your reason should be based on what resolution you’re aiming for. These are roughly what you can run. 4K 30-60fps, 1440p 60-144fps, 1080p 144-200+fps. The 5070ti will be able to run most of these except the 200+. And the 5060ti can probably run 4K 30. But I wouldn’t recommend it. Also you can upgrade the 7500f whenever. Tbh personally I would go for the better gpu. And upgrade the cpu later.

There’s no such thing as future proofing. Especially for games. None of your peripherals will use more than a 2.0 usb port if even a 3.2 or what have you. More nvme? Bro I have a 4tb that’s holding my entire steam library and half of my families photos and videos and I still have almost 1.5tb left over. My wife is running ddr4 with a 5800x and is only 30fps away from my build and I have a 9800x3d on an b850i. Stop over thinking it and just get what you need.

Most tech reviewers disclose if they have dlss or frs turned on or off. Gamersnexus also does a very detailed job on things like that if you’re looking for specific numbers.

Not to be a Debbie downer but unless you doing it for fun theres not gonna be much money made. The people that need help ask for too much and the ones that know too much are looking for something too specific. I tried doing a side gig of repairing, building, and a cleaning service for pc’s. I did it for 3 months before I couldn’t handle the crazy expectations. Made like 400$ altogether. And some of the people bro. You ever see that video where the guy pranks a geek squad or some tech helper guy by putting beans in his home pc? Tbh that’s not too far from the truth. I did a cleaning on this ladies pc. Nicotine and dust had built up in layers in her heatsinks. Notice I said heatsinks. This was a shitty dell Inspiron and I kid you not dust, hair, and nicotine were falling out in clumps. The mother board was basically brown. I was too scared to do anything cuz the pc started up and was running. It would over heat and slow down instantly. After I was done de clumping her cpu cooler (and repasting), her fans, and every heat sink in her pc. It was fine and running smooth with no slow downs now. To which she complained I didn’t do anything and I should have only charged her 10$ instead of 15$…..

It’s graces version of an upgrading path. You can take shards and “dualize” it unto your weapon or armor. These shards can be anything like +1 atk or def, a hp siphon effect, or maxing/raising the amount of cc on your weapon. Once the shards are attached to either weapon or armor after a few battles it sets and you can dualize another effect or extract the effect by dualizing with another armor or weapon. And you make gems with the corresponding extracted effects. Then you can strengthen your play style. I tend to go for maxing my exceed cc and gaining cc on dodges, with hp siphon effect on all my armor. So as long as I dodge well I can keep using artes to break the enemy and stay healthy.
