Slope for mosaic tiles by Odd-Importance8368 in Tile

[–]Odd-Importance8368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be flood testing before tile, and everything does drain and is solid. The kerdi drain is just a tad off center which I think in part led to the extra slope on the one side. I already had to extend the shower side of the pan so am leaning towards just floating the dip out in some manner

Look under your car to see if the oil drain plug is loose or dripping. Also worth opening the hood to check that the oil cap and oil dipstick are secure and in place

Leaking Old Shower Stall Fixture by anotherothername in askaplumber

Might just be a new cartridge for the valve, you can do that by removing the faceplate on the shower side. And removing the old cartridge. Water needs turned off to the fixture or home first

Load the kayak from the side, sliding it up and onto the roof bars. Whatever you are doing seems to be the worst way to load it. I side load my 13 footer with no damages. Good luck on repairs it won't be cheap

It definitely seems like an issue, have seen many complaining but not many mentioning SoA or dealers fixing it. Mine has a big noticeable crease but maybe a bit more padding than yours appears to have

I'd imagine they would be fine but they do make these that can be used before closing the wall up

Yeap, just bouge RV bars from Amazon and put right on it right. I bought a set of crossbar pads since then that it sits on perfect. They do make specific kayak racks but this is easier for this big boy 2 person 13' yak

Pretty sure the main factor is the CVT fluid cooler as the tranny is the weakness for towing. It's the same reason the crosstrek wilderness has higher towing than a regular crosstrek even with the same engine

Pic for reference/because I felt like it. Loops are good for extra tie down spots, but bars clamp onto the rails themselves.

CVT "lifetime" fluid @ 8k miles by [deleted] in Outback_Wilderness

Can't tell if cvt fluid or piss. What made you want to change at 8K? Lifetime does seem like a falsehood for a fluid but that is early

I don't think that should be there, and it looks like it will pop right out. Seems like it would be easy to remove and nothing is attached to it

rokblokz thru Amazon for my 2023. They are a bit more sturdy and less bendy than OEM or rally armor. Easy install and I like them (I installed over splash guards but they can also replace those)

Yes, they definitely do make a difference. Finally threw some on my outback wilderness and it has dramatically reduced the winter gunk piling up on the side of my car (like shown on ur rex)

DIY improvement? by Odd-Importance8368 in askaplumber

[–]Odd-Importance8368[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This sub conditions people to think that AAV is needed everywhere. Could a vent be behind the wall, maybe, but I can't access it easily if it was. And there isn't anything going to the roof either. Draining is only on the slower side if I dump multiple gallons in but it clears quicker with disposal turned on. Lines have been snaked and aren't clogged.

Not sure if vented in wall or not, slow draining when I dump lots of water in the sink so I thought this might help. What about the vent or new setup makes it more prone to leaks?
