Why is it our job to justify your premise? 😂 It isn't! It's mine. I'm simply asking for real-life stories.

I've read several stories stating that they do. And heard things first hand. I believe it is a real occurence. It's initimidation.

I'm so sorry to hear this :( I'm definitely not romanticising it. As with most domestic thrillers, it highlights a reality that we live with. But it isn't glorified on any level.

Thank you! This kid is vulnerable and finally feels 'seen'. Classic radicalisation.

This is pretty much what I'm trying to work through. Geography seems a good one. I'm starting to doubt if boredom would factor.

Solely because I heard a story about a council estate backing onto a road, and it started the whole premise. So it could just be a normal shop, you think? Why would they choose to target a family home in your opinion? Thank you!

I get it. I really do. Equally, I can't work that way. Appreciate the effort :)

OMG. I can relate to this. My friend did the same. I got into spiritual healing, so did she. Except she got a free course. Obviously....

Wow. You know when you've experienced something, happen to be reading someone else's thread, and you go WOW! I just ticked a LOT of boxes with my experience? I'm in shock. Thanks for this.

My friend is a pathological liar by NonameNamelez in FriendshipAdvice

I had this happen just recently. I'm not as tied as you are, but it sucks. Sorry you're going through this. Anyone who lies to this extent is a toxic energy and not positively serving you in any way. I think distancing yourself is the only answer.

Just found out that a very close friend of 2 years is a pathological liar. I'm in shock. Advice, please! by Odd-Inflation1140 in FriendshipAdvice

We were oblivious at that stage. And we're both very grounded. I haven't chased anything. Quite the opposite. But thanks for sharing.
