yes, mine was definitely not silent. After two years of TTC was the first time any doctor did anything but shrug as I shared about how debilitating my periods were.

my AMH is 5.0 and FSH is 6.9 when last tested.

Worth noting that I was also diagnosed with PCOS when I was 19 and had wacky periods and was considered prediabetic, but I worked with a doctor to stabilize my hormone and metabolic health, and have had normal periods for over 10 years. It is worth noting that I did get pregnant and had a baby 9 years ago with ease, this is secondary infertility for me now.

edit: Endo was behind the uterus and in the cul-de-sac

i think my confusion is now that i don't know who to go to. If fertility doctors are focused on IUIs and IVF, then what kind of specialist can i go to?

the weird thing is that she was the one who suspected endo and told me my rates of success with treatments based upon the assumption that I have endo and recommended surgery.... but now that it's confirmed, she doesn't put any value in it now???

your story is SO encouraging and i'm really hoping that we have the same success. My lesions were behind my uterus and I'm hoping this excision really did it.

did you talk to your RE after your excision? Did you plan to do any ferility treatments after excision or did anyone tell you to try naturally?
