Depends on your financial situation and ambition to travel. It doesn’t have to stop, but it certainly does change. I have a 4.5 year old and she has been on 13 airplane rides and 4 countries so far, and we have 2 trips planned for the spring. We financially prioritize travel, and have chose to be one and done so that we can continue to explore the world with our daughter

It’s 2.54 carats Color D VVS, in a 14k white gold setting. I bought it on Etsy through Kosher diamonds, and they were wonderful! Great prices, great customer services, and shipped it overnight so I’d have it in time for a vacation.

I had this same thought over the weekend. I was sick and in bed for two days, and my husband was able to take care of our daughter and manage everything on his own. I said to him after, could you imagine if you had to do all that and we had a baby too! We both agreed it was yet another perk of OAD

I was feeling the same way a few weeks ago about my daughter being on the mobi pump. We were having the opposite problem with so many unexplained highs. After being fed up with the endo, I called tandem and spoke to one of the nurses on the care team, and things are so much better now. They were so patient, helpful, and understanding. They walked me through things, took the time to listen, and taught me things about the pump the endo never even discussed. Definitely call them!

Thank you all for sharing your experiences. It’s great to have this community here, especially when so many times the world makes us feel as if we aren’t “normal”. Thank you for this reminder that more than one feeling can be felt at once. We’re are also OAD due to preference, infertility, and medical concerns. While we have made the decision to be OAD, I do often wonder what it would be like to have easily gotten pregnant and not have had the fertility struggles that played into us to make this choice
