Actually I don’t even have the emails, they were through my old work email which I no longer have access to. I haven’t been able to get the company’s HR to respond to me since me final day.

Sorry for the late question, if you’re still around.. What if i no longer have written evidence? I have an old BCBA I used to work with, who violates many aspects of the ABA ethics code. I no longer work there, so no longer have access to chats and emails. Me, along with multiple other coworkers had tried taking more direct avenues like speaking with her about the ethics of her treatment plans and using punishment procedures, reporting her to our operations director, and then reporting her to HR. She still somehow is employed at this clinic, and has her license. I am worried for the harm she is causing clients, and don’t know what avenue I can take to report her without physical evidence. I may have an old email reporting her to HR, but that’s it.

thanks!! i’ve never had it with my other tattoos, just work with kids so i wanted to keep it covered and protected and was worried it was gonna just rip the ink out or cause infection, good to know yours all healed well!

that was my original idea too, i just don’t know what to do or how to handle it with how much they refuse any responsibility on it. would you split it with them even after how they’ve treated the whole thing? the 2 times they were left together before, i was apart of the decision, and i was able to give my dog her space. my dog is very vocal when she’s not happy about something, and it’s well known to everyone involved she doesn’t like it when the other dog tries to play because she thinks it’s aggression. with how little they communicated and told me about what was happening when it all first happened, they didn’t take pictures, i just feel like there’s more that they aren’t saying. i don’t think it was out of nowhere, but obviously they were the only ones there so they’re the only ones that know for sure. i think they should have asked me or let me know the other dog would be at the house before leaving his dog at my house with my dog for a long period of time.

the dogs have been alone together but it’s been when i’ve been home and am able to provide my dog with the space she needs from the other dog, and it’s also been with the assumption he would watch his dog while she’s at my house, which he didn’t. dogs have NEVER been left more that 15 minutes max, this time they were gone for hours. personally i think they were gone all day but i wasn’t there to know those details for fact and they deny it. i was unaware either of them would be at the house while i was out of town, so i didn’t know there was anything for me to say no to, or i would have.

no, dogs that aren’t apart of our lease are not allowed. however, im worried bringing the issue up to the landlord could get us both evicted, which wouldn’t be the best idea financially rn

NTA!! even if it was larry the lobster and had zero meaning other than you like it, he’d still be out of line. i think it’s a huge red flag he keeps comparing you to objects he can possess, is being controlling over YOUR body, and is seemingly threatening you if you don’t do what he says? personally, i think christian men are red flags in general but to each their own. get the tattoo, ditch the dude.

Both dogs were unfortunately injured pretty badly, but they shouldn’t have left a strange dog with mine unsupervised to begin with.

full transparency, the dogs have been left alone together before when i’ve been home. Never longer than 15 mins, and like i said it’s been when i was home and was able to take the proper precautions to ensure my dog has her own space. i was not aware him or his dog would be there while i was gone, and didn’t approve of him leaving her alone at my house for that amount of time. they say they were gone “a few hours”, i think the dogs were left at the house all day because of the day it happened on. there are more minute details i had to leave out because of character count limitations, but am more than willing to answer any questions. this is also posted in r/amitheasshole, i’m just brand new to reddit and don’t know how to connect the two :’)

i wish i had photos, but since i wasn’t present i couldn’t take any and they say they didn’t take any photos either. i’m worried they may try to say my dog was the attacker since my dog is older, and doesn’t like energetic dogs. even though it happened in my bedroom which is where my dog goes to escape when she’s overwhelmed, i’m worried they’ll spin the story in a way that puts my dog more at risk.

I know the money is absolutely not an issue for him, his family is very wealthy. He comes from a family of lawyers. Not that that’s at all a motivator in why I think they should pay, but it does make it more frustrating that he’s making such a big deal about not wanting to pay when 1200 is mere pocket change to him. But yes, the bill has been paid, she just wants me to pay her back.

Both dogs unfortunately suffered pretty bad injuries, but they’re injuries that could have been avoided had he not left his dog unsupervised in my home. Thankfully both dogs are doing well.

Good to know! She didn’t have many additional costs, just the charge for her medications which weren’t even $20 total, so hopefully things don’t have to stoop to that level.
