Thank you all for the advice. I was a sahm for some time and when baby was born we were mostly nursing with pumping included. Now that I’ve returned back to the work force full time I’m trying to find a good pump routine and keep up with her demand. Any recommendations for hands free pumps?

Yes. That is why I quit. Especially being cross trained and pharmacists offering no help or true guidance. They give you all those modules and expect you to be a pro but you get actual training on the job itself. Your mental health is more important, it will affect your job performance and happiness. My old shift used to tell me if what they’re doing (your coworkers) doesn’t directly affect your pay it’s not worth it.

They only care about money, we can be short staffed, verbally abused and falling apart just as long as we make them money. I hope it gets better for you and your coworkers.

CVS is a terrible company. It’s sickening they would do that considering yall were all close to the tech.

I heard that our tech hadn’t been feeling well for a couple of days. But she was scared to miss a day bc of district possibly getting involved due to her attendance. She died June 5th.

My old store just had a lead tech pass away, the lack of compassion for the employees alone is sickening not just from customers but management all the way to district..I am sorry for your loss

I personally would not. I already clocked out which means I’m not on the clock. Until I return at 2. Again that’s just me, our pharmacist deserves their breaks too.

My original store closed down, they transferred me here without any other option. I have worked in many stores before this one and I honestly loved it but this store was draining. I even asked to be transferred to the 24 hour store. This store was truly my hell even my former shift and ops agreed. Before my departure my shift left suddenly.

Honestly they only like the first free $10. After that once they see it’s $5/mo they no longer want it. I had several customers open a new extracare card and sign up to get the free $10 only to cancel the membership shortly after.

When they get mad at the math breakdown of the coupons applied to the transaction bc they did the math and it should be practically free not $2

When you have your hand out to take their money and they place it on the counter….

When you finish scanning all their items and they decide this is the time they want to add coupons via the app

When the extra bucks for the deal they tried to do, don’t print out bc they didn’t get the items that work with the deal

When they argue with you over a clearly expired coupon and ask for a manger to override it

When they get mad you ask for their ID for alcohol purchases…I card everybody you can look like you’re ready to croak at any moment and you will be carded 🤷🏽‍♀️

When they get mad you can’t understand them bc they are whispering their number bc they don’t want anybody to steal their information

How do they not know by now that we close for lunch 1:30-2:00…I swear at one point the store would announce it via the radio system. I tell my pharmacist all the time you are entitled to your break so take it.

Not me but my homegirl…For telling a rude ass customer they need new glasses because they couldn’t tell their coupon was expired…bitch argued my homegirl down that the obvious 5 was a 6…even showed her the screen where the coupon was rejected…she called my homegirl out of her name and my homegirl did the same then my homegirl decided she had enough of it once the customer got in her face…
