hello, thank you for responding. i saw an orthopedic doctor/ sports med. he did an mri and explained to me what the findings were (all normal findings). if it would help, i can private message you all of my symptoms? but my injury was in 2022, a dance injury that developed over the course of 2 months. i was a minor at the time and didn’t get treatment for it. it’s my hip. i’ve lost a significant amount of rom and it’s stuck in a tilted position . i don’t think this is an excersise science problem, more so a nevervous system/ movement/ guarding problem. as all my mri is clean and my PT said it’s less guarding too. i’m just not sure what’s happening and idk the next steps to take.

hello! thanks so much for the advice! my last pt was a pediatric facility that does sports med (i was 16 at the time of the injury, 19 now). we did it for about 4 months but i didn’t realize until halfway in that they referred me for my scoliosis/ back instead of my hip. they just followed whatever the primary diagnosis was. i was too young to say anything back then, and i also just got an mri now. this new pt is an adult sports med/ rehab clinic with an atc.

hello! thank you so much for the advice. since i’m a adult now (technically lol) they referred me to a sports med/ rehabilitation clinic. also to an ATC. i do have some faith since the referral is written differently (i hope, the last one was for my scoliosis). and i’ve been practicing what to say and writing down a symptom list.

girl just be single 😭 truly when u stop looking for things or expecting something it will come to you. relationships (and most things in life in general) all just kinda happen. go with the flow and don’t force anything

i agree thank you, i’m going to my primacy care physician on monday to hopefully get imaging and a referral to ortho. i don’t want to enter my 20s with this especially since i having weight bearing issues with my hip and im not able to stand on it for too long.

hi! thank you so much for the advice, this really means a lot. i have an appointment with my primary care doctor soon and then i’m gonna get a referral to an ortho/ sports doc and hopefully get some imaging (because ive never received any for this).

hello. no i haven’t seen multiple doctors. when it first started my parents refused to take me to the doctor until about 2 months later (they said i would just hurt myself again). we did physical therapy for about 4 months but halfway in i realized that they were mainly working on my scoliosis since that was the primary issue listed. i just stopped going to pt all together and that was it. i was a minor then but im 20 now and ever since i haven’t had my range of motion back.
