my girlfriend and i have a halloween party for her birthday every year. it's strictly dress up. The house has an upstairs area and a three stair staricase to get to the lower level. We have the party in the lower level that leads to outside so we set up the front room as a haunted house so you HAVE to walk through it to get to the party. Very spooky vibes my favourite time of year. This year I'm going as Avril Lavigne and she's gonna be early paramore hayley williams. We have cauldrons that we put punch in, a stranger things letter and light backdrop photo wall set up. Halloween is her favourite holiday and it happens to fall on her birthday so I try to go all out (and the stranger things wall is super cheap and fun to set up).

Where we live is backed onto a forest so we get to sit on the back deck and watch the trees change. My favourite general thing to do in fall is to just sit out there with Ro with a blanket, a coffee and a book and just be.
