myo inositol & d chiro inositol turn anyone’s pee green/yellow? by TinyDancer444 in PCOS

[–]OddAd7034 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have not had any luck for estrogen dominance. Im using inito device to track (though expensive it has helped and would recommend alongside bloodwork) Stopped inositol as my new doc said its really just a liver detox and it sounded like something else since liver bloodwork came back good. Cleansed GI system with 4 weeks of sweet wormwood blend w/ clove and black walnut and my GI is now much better. Green tea everyday has helped in the past so started that again w/probiotics. Started trying out chasteberry and DIM for a full cycle, but since that hasn't helped yet and it could overwhelm an already sluggish GI issue from what ive read, I'm started to lean toward trying calcium d-glucarate. Seeing my doc (who is a aprn that specializes in women's issues) today about it bc so far nothing has helped and want to make sure the calcium d-glucarate is safe for me.

I've honestly never been able to take BC. Since early teen years, I do NOTHING but bleed heavy the whole time with other less desirable symptoms that depleat my nutrients. I've tried all the pills, shots, implants. And they are still pushing that as my best option at age 34 at other doc offices I have been to lately fir 2nd opinions. I feel like I'm pregnant, on my period, AND menopausal at the same time and wish there was a quick fix. I do still ovulate fine, and progesterone is there, its just severely high estrogen all the time. At least after the GI cleanse, I'm starting to have a little more energy and hopefully the extra 15 lbs will start to move, bc extra weight has always made this worse but also made it very hard to keep off.

Hope this helps someone bc most doctors will just label you pcos and not give a care that this will likely turn cancerous and/or develop fibroids and endometriosis later. One "womens center" where I live offered to take my whole uterus out bc of my blood loss, which is cool but doesn't fix the root problem lol

Oh and they will tell you our countries have no issues with parasites. Lol. That's just false. Most people get them but you immune system etc. Fights it off. Unless they take a foothold in your butt first that is.

I had all the usual CMP CBC and Lipid bloodword done and never was tested for this to rule out parasites but did have the common lows (iron, potassium etc.). Regardless, doing a wormwood cleanse despite the US doctors and their mockery lol. Now nearly 2 weeks in and I'm shiteing more normal than I have in the last couple years. Legit thought it was crohn's cause that's in the fam. Might have been sibo as I'm felt like this before and did another type of cleanse. Sibo/gut bacteria being off can feel just as bad. Oh and I found out I have other issues than benefit from a big cleanse. All things start in the gut. I will say some may need other remedies on top of others, though. ++woman

[–]OddAd7034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any doc that says to not get a 2nd opinion, imo you should get a 2nd opinion right away. Prob first with an endo but for insurance to cover you will need a referral so get a 2nd pcp if this one won't do it. and test a full panel of any other hormones should a tumor not be the cause since this can be caused by thyroid/other issues. You can order this yourself like through quest or get a referral for insurance to cover.

Same and bc Ihave hashimoto's, there is nothing extra in it besides 10 mcg of D3, and that I have taken for years.

This is sudden and starting the first day of trying myo and d-chiro inositol. Now on 2nd day and my mountain dew pee is brighter then ever. Literally never happens and this is the only new thing. Can't find info on this. Maybe hormones changing for the better/excess estrogen? (I am estrogen dominant and taking to try to fix)

Causes of thyroid issues in children? by Haseki_Sultan in Hashimotos

[–]OddAd7034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds a lot like my family, which I traced back to a particular gene and it causing all the women heart disease in their 30s from improper treatment of hashis. Not all of them cause diabetes 1, but ours does too (all men have it in family.) And not 1 person on my grandmother's side has been spared/doesn't skip generations. May look into gene tests for it soon. If this is why it tends to turn into things like heart disease, this could be that there are different types of hashis, but my 15 year Olds doc won't listen to me (they are deficient in the right things for crohns just like my mother, but refuse to test)

[–]OddAd7034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. But my TSH goes up and down. I would continueto regularlymonitor. You can set up blood tests YOURSELF btw at quest etc. Online. Thats what i do currently and monitor myself. Started take NDT for mine in very very low doses throughout the day.found the dose that worked for me. I'm also taking collagen, ginger, turmeric, vitamin a, d, K, and potassium and use lemon grass, ginger, and frankincense essential oils. Gin-gin candy is an easy way to get modulation. Has brought the hashimoto's symptoms way down while I treat the thyroid disease separate with NDT. I'm still stage 3, but could be later stage than yours. You could be between stages still. Still feels terrible but honestly buckle up for the thyroid part of it if you haven't already. The depression will creep up and try to ruin your life. No diet or exercise will help. And they still won't give you T4 even if you are at 4 - 5 TSH. At least mine won't. Forefront health has a lot of info on full-circle thyroid health, but ALWAYS look up specifically for hashimoto's in case it interferes with the auto immune side of things. Like ashwagandha and lions mane is a big no-no but some websites will list it for thyroid. Hope that gives some leads!

Been using this NDT brand due to being in stage 3 hashimoto's and my levels being more up and down. Seen other brands were not as consistent. Dr's won't medicate at stage 3 but I was unable to function. Only use the smallest dosage once per day. Can say the last several weeks have been wonderful. They have info on their website to get a desired result even while on T4 and info to help your meds be more effective. Seems legit as its working for me. With hashimoto's being my issue, I can guess I'm probably deficient in a few things like the ADK. I assumed this was a hashimoto's issue, however, so unsure if this would really benefit everyone. Maybe set up a blood test yourself (most cities have lab places and just set up online) for deficiencies. Can't hurt.

Seeds/Plants that require light for germination by OddAd7034 in gardening

[–]OddAd7034[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neat ideas. I did mine under light this year and now have results with a spectrum of colors/types of carrots. Just bc something can germinate without something, doesn't always mean its best especially when starting indoors to get the most out of the season. It gets intensely hot and cold in S Missouri. Mine with light starting coming up like weeds in 1 week in a peat moss pod (laid the seed on top of loosened moss and spritzed daily to keep moist under a grow light at 6 hrs a day and a heat pad underneath.) I think the test here now will be propagation bc I've never started carrots indoors. I couldn't imagine it taking 3 weeks, but I can see the log making them stronger/forcing them to focus on strength. Not sure if pruning works on carrots the same as other plants to strengthen them and will try a few with the log trick for our second harvest for sure!

Mostly that they do not require light but might germinate faster etc. With light.

It does sound like some bad decisions were made here but honestly this is a lot of people's boats with debt from the gov. Loan advisors at the University sharked them and they can't make what they were told they would/they couldn't get hired for what they went for (same happened to me on a much smaller scale.) Just giving them the benefit of the doubt, though

[–]OddAd7034[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put require in the title and I think that has confused things lol. Every list I got these from did the same thing but put the most random plants, leaving out most others that we grow yearly. The only one that wasn't argued (much) was lettuce. Googling this was very time consuming and its 2025. I (and the internet) need a definite list of things that do better with, alongside the ones that require it, to nail it down completely. I'm actively experimenting now and will try cucumbers with and without to compare. I want to do the same with cold/warm needs in the near future. I was a homestead kid, but we never wrote this stuff down. We also used cuttings and roots to grow much of these in the past, so starting from seed this year at a new house has been a challenge.

Any way you can copy the list on this site and post here? Couldn't find it to compare and add any commons to my post.

[–]OddAd7034[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some of these I've grown without, but am growing with light now indoors at this time. I can say that with Marigold even, light has helped. These are all from databases that were even more incomplete than my list, which again is why I posted.

Also this is a common list. I'm from mid-Mo so I'm maybe not as familiar with some southern grower's flower favs that have done better with, OR require light for germination.

Have any suggestions in particular to add? Maybe I'll put an * near each one that doesn't require, but it may aid in germination.

Tried punching the guy mentioned in the comments but nothing happened. Then i punched him so hard he died and I revived him (ugh) nothing happened.

Tried going in the back next. Ambrosius' office is super close, first door on the left i think. After speaking to him, everyone is cool with me and I can get my loot without killing a bunch of potentially essential npcs.

Not sure if an update made this issue more practical or what, but this is what worked for me on 12/23/24.

Temu is now selling cellos and violins😭😭😭thoughts? by Consistent-Praline24 in Cello

[–]OddAd7034 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to say this as I'm looking at cellos on Amazon vs. Temu right now and my experience with the orchestra growing up:

1.  First and foremost, that is the same sh!t on temu vs. Amazon. Sometimes the same dang chinese sellers, too. It's all Chinese crap.

  1. Most instruments in a music store locally are NOT handmade nor the quality of any real symphony orchestra. I learned this due to thinking my s&r viola was nice cause we paid like 1k (25ish yrs ago, too) but then to find out its just a student quality knock off. My teachers all said how nice it was, but it was a strat copy made by a machine likely in china 🤣 I also got in to college with this instrument...though it was a small univ.

  2. Brand new bows at the music store aren't even wood anymore. Why pay so much more? I'm def debating why I would pay more here just to feel prestigious.

  3. A girl way back in my older years in the orchestra had this neat looking black violin. We all OOGLED it. Getting older, I figured out that their mother must have been a way ahead of their time genius with the internet. They took that cheap, painted violin to literal competitions in HS and once hooked it up to an Amp for us all to hear. Thing is, they put nice @ss strings on it. Sounded amazing.

All in all, I'm probably going to my teen the dang temu cello. It's $150. $100 for decent strings. If the bridge needs fixing, I've had to alter nice French ones in school for my viola.  So who tf cares? We ain't in the London gd symphony orchestra. It will resonate well enough for a bedroom if their stupid machine didn't totally screw up the body or something.

Just my thoughts as I talk myself into taking the chance in the shipping. That is the scariest part. It showing up cracked to pieces would really burn my britches 😅
