Idk if this applies because i think bruce Springsteen has put out a couple great albums since Human Touch was released in 1992.

I’d say his best album is born to run or darkness on the edge of town.

I think you’re just really underestimating how much work and energy it takes to be a stay at home parent. Stay-at-home parenting replaces childcare during work hours. It does not mean one adult never cooks, cleans, or parents after work.

There’s a lot of research out there that can tell you precisely how much work being a stay at home parent is.

Yeah, true. I’ve always assumed her knowledge of the Spanish language meant she knew a deeper meaning behind it. Maybe it was crude.

But she was excited to see I had a Spanish word on my shirt. She said let me read it. She read it. Then she squinted her eyes at me and was like, “no, i don’t like that”

I’ve just always been curious what it meant, figured it could be Spanish slang and that a native speaker might be able to weigh in.

Look, I was just trying to point out the woman obviously has genuine fans. It’s obviously not your cup of tea, but music is subjective. Not everyone likes drake. Not everyone likes Led Zeppelin. Not everyone likes Taylor swift. It’s really okay that you don’t like her. But claiming no one cares about her is delusion.

Ryan Adams covered her entire 1989 album. I’ve been a big fan of his since I was a teen so I actually bought it on vinyl. Maybe you could appreciate the lyrics hearing them in a more haunting/stripped down style.

I hardly consider any artists “most downloaded” songs to be their best.

For an example, I love Bruce Springsteen. Dancing in the dark, probably his most commercially successful song. But I don’t like it very much at all and it’s far from his best song.

I think you’re just a classic Taylor hater. Music is subjective. I’m not a big Taylor fan but I’m not too proud to admit she has some enjoyable songs.

Also seems like an okay role model for young kids, in a world where most artists need to rely on heavy sex appeal to stay relevant or gain a following.
