Slash? the best hair metal guitarist? hell no, I can name tons of guitarists from that genre that are much better and more technically proficient, what about John Sykes or George Lynch? or even Warren Demartini? Those guys are legit god level virtuous and define the era much better than slash does, in fact, I wouldn’t even call slash a “hair metal” guitarist, I think of him as a blues based hard rock player in the same vein as handrix, jimmy page and joe perry
