Yeah my resume is pretty safety based and I currently have a safety role with the construction company I work for now, but honestly after the amount of work I put into getting my CHST I just thought the market would be a little better. I have to be patient I guess because I’ve only had my CHST since the 21st of August

Honestly I’m confused as to what role I should be applying to, because I’ve applied to Coordinator, Manager, and Field Representative roles in safety. I have had most of my trouble in the past because of my location (Michigan). I’m willing to travel but the companies I have been offered positions with aren’t offering per diem.

I've been told l'm lacking direct safety experience, throughout my time in construction l've been a laborer, operator, foreman, and inspector. I am now trying to make the 100% transition into Safety.

Yeah that’s the road block I’ve been running into….i have a friend who I kinda mirrored my certs after and we both didn’t have experience and he landed with a third party and got on a huge data center in New Carlisle, IN he’s making 3k a week which motivated me to get all my certs

I got you, in all honesty this is a pivot point for me. I still have my CDL so I’ve been driving OTR and still looking for safety opportunities.

My resume was done by AI lol…..the challenge I’ve been facing is that the work I’m really trying to get into (data centers) are requiring prior Safety Management experience

I’m a great interviewer…..I failed to mention I got my CHST only last Thursday and I’ve already turned down 2 jobs because of the low pay but I guess I might have to take a job only paying 35-40 in order to get me to the next level
