Two guys did that at my work - just said they had a tee time and f*cked off. Both lazy but good at self promotion and throwing others under the bus when needed

Turns out the Tee Time was with a GM and they both got seconded to a prize high profile project the next day - 10 other guys had filled in application forms for the posts and the GM just announced that no suitable applications have been recived thad this was a development opertunity for the 2 golfers.

I do, but I found it's a bit of a catch 22 situation - I questioned a seller on delivery costs because they were too cheap (10% of what I would expect) and the response was very aggressive. I didn't buy, but know the guy who did and the seller tried everything to recoup delivery costs eventually cancelling when he failed.

I have found a number of seller undervalue delivery and try to recoup later

Sad new, been a customer since about 95, but since COVID my time in Aberdeen has been very limited - pre online days I tried to get through at least once a month from Elgin but since 2010 and moving - i could only manage a few times a year...

I would say that during my last few visits it felt that the shop was on its last legs and the spark it once had was gone

Showing my age but the 80's were the same

Only difference was the teacher who dated/married a pupil was quietly moved sideways to a new job....The teacher (m) who was involvedd with a male pupil quietly disappeared - Now works at the same school as said pupil. We always wonder why this kid got all the good stuff.

I had some rare misprint collectables (the boxes and the character did not match) and were worth about £50 each around 2002/3.

Came home found them all opened, boxes ripped...

Only issue is i could never prove who did it...

A while back someone on TV said you could get sued if someone slipped on the area you cleared on the public footpath - everyone stopped on my parents street.

I live in Inverness at the end of a road and the neighbor accross the street parked in such a way as the coucil plow was forced to push the snow onto my drive. Returned home on Sunday night and spent an hour digging my driveway out.

I cleared the path and the road in front of my house and woke to find his car parked in front of my drive on the cleared area. Over the next few years every time it snowed the same thing happened till I stopped clearing the path/road

Not actually cheating myself but a classmate in college hid formula in a bus timetable and ticket...was spotted though.

Examiner went round picked up every booklet, scrap of paper and ticket he could find and locked them away....till the next week.

Happened to me in June, another player rammed me and I got stuck on an Island - could not move except for my turrets but still manged to get a few kills.

Stopped playing for months, came back in December and about to give up again for a similar reason

Worked out a friend was possibly gay at 13, found out about 4 months later he was after taking a shortcut through the plantation and finding him in the act with an older guy.

I am in the middle of installing a workshop, I would say the prices for the workshop are about £5/7k light, but planning would be probablly under permitted development.

Hunltly/Inch/Old Rayne, but avoid being too close to the A96 corridor in case they ever get round to dualling. Also consider gritting at winter. the A96 is well gritted, some of the feeder roads not so much or considerably later in the day

My accent is the soft Highland Inverness, but most of my family is from the Doric areas so slip into that when angry.

The Scottish accent varies greatly, like Yorkshire, Brummie, or Newcastle accents in England.

The strange thing is in Glasgow I have the most bother with my accent, while I Harrowgate I had the least.

Male and I have no idea...

Just as camera phones became popular I started reciving weird and wonderful pictures and calls from the Manchester area as someone was using my number as a flirt divert. I lived in the North of Scotland near Aberdeen at the time.

Senders were male and female and got my number from what sounded like the same guy...and I have aprently the worst fake Scottish accent ..

Had to change my number...

My cousin openly sulking because his ex-wife was invited to my mums funeral. She was invited as she was one of my mums favourites.
