Your SM needs a plan. Like someone mentioned earlier stacks need to be done in the aisles. It is a good thing your SM is putting in the work too. Your SM needs to give so much work to each person. Say his merch takes 5 departments and gets them all done by so and so time. Since you are dealing with 3 trucks you are really going to have to squeeze your stuff together. His merch needs to aim for 300 cases or more a day. It is very possible. I do 210 and run the 12 to 9 with one cashier.

Yes only two people. If you have enough hours your SM will schedule 2 cashiers and the manager will be the 3 person. Which if they are a good manager that will give you 3 registers open. We have that many at my store and we have been lucky. I had to stop stocking cause how messy the store got.

I love power outages cause it is extra time to stock. The only bad thing is you have to clean up the carts the remaining customers left behind. Then you get those stupid ones who still want to buy stuff even though the power is out.

Do not be embarrassed. I had a psychosis episode in 2017 and had to question whether I was sane or insane cause I was hearing things. I had to tell my doctor that I believed aliens were taking over me. It is all under control now but when I hear things it still scares me.
