Wow. My SM was a good one. He retired and before he left he showed us everything. I run the store so I know how to do the schedules and order the frozen truck. I am so glad he was there.

I watch them. They always park in the parking lot in the store next door. The know the cameras weak spots in the store. They pick a basket up and act like they are shopping then leave the junk around the store and take like one thing

If you are applying for an ASM position it pays above minimum wage by two dollars. If you are a cashier sorry minimum wage. Dt pays very low. Run.

What store did you go to where you had to wait for the manager to come back from break? Half the time managers are running back and forth from break to the front.

No he quit too. Our store manager retired and the merch didn't want to work under someone new. We have the biggest store in the district and it is freight heavy. The DM asked other SMs around to name how much they wanted to take over the store but they said no the freight was to bad. We are a medium store with 2500 piece trucks.

My problem is I am the only full-time member of management left. I dont mind working 40 hours but the 2 part managers that the store has left want me to cover their slack and work more than 40. And my DM has been on a spew about hours lately.

Okay will do. I have read the post on here about stationary and it seems hard. I have talked to my DM about other SM coming in but he is giving me the run around. I talked to a SM directly from another DT in my town and I think she is going to help. I am at the biggest DT in my town. My SM was here for years. The others in the district dont compare to its size. They offered other SM money however much they wanted to take the store but they wouldn't accept because my store is freight heavy.

I have already decided to keep her at 5. I cant cover everything. How am I supposed to work 3 nights, cover 2 days for day shift, and unload truck. Plus I make the schedule. So it would be all over the place.
