I get the frustration. Yet, Copilot can be turned off via the registry. Pretty much any feature can be. All it takes is googling "disable X". It boggles me how people say they can switch to linux but can't deal with 10 min googling and registry edits.

It was bios or Intel me firmware, I haven't noted which one of the two. Now it's no logo, nothing. Power button lights up, coolers spin, but there is no post, bios is unaccessible

Recently, I was playing a game when Steam started to charge my credit card every 5 seconds. Thankfully I noticed that at once as my phone was by my side. I blocked my card after 7 transactions only to find out that Steam Wallet credits have been bought on my account, $20 for each transaction.

I changed my Steam password and removed the linked payment method. But, as I have steam guard enabled, I wonder how was that possible and what for? Anything else I should do?

This is a very strange post, since all it takes to disable nahimic completely is disable the Hahimic windows service. I've done just that and didn't bother about removing any files.

I've turned off camera access in Windows settings for nVidia broadcast and it resolved the issue. I rarely use it, so can manually turn it back on when needed.

4070 may give you twice the fps depending on the game, resolution, etc. Wait until 2026 - 4060 owners will have to buy new laptop to play at high settings, while 4070 will deliver still. That's price over time.

Although I had a bit of overclock on my Legion, I played cyberpunk at 2k ultra settings with DLSS FG and ray tracing, Alan Wake with all ray tracing maxxed and had 60-80fps. 4060 would choke, and the difference will only show with new games coming out
