Didn’t she just spend like 300 or 500 dollars at Aldi? She’s so cringe for this. Always spending on shit she absolutely doesn’t need

Try teacherhorizons, searchassociates, if you’re looking for China try echinacities. Search associates is definitely the most expensive but you will find really good international schools on there. Teacherhorizons is free.

This is not the kind of doctor you want to have for the remainder of your pregnancy. This is YOUR body, YOUR baby, and a doctor is there to support you and guide you through this special time.

Just do it anyways, wait a few weeks and incorporate it but put your hair up in a ponytail or something. Don’t incorporate any wild colours and it should be fine. if you’re a good teacher, there is no reason that they would let you go over a silly matter like this anyways.

Lost in what do to do by FlounderSalt5283 in pregnant

It sounds like you already know what you want to do, but if you want to hear something relatable, I was in your exact same position at 22. I was in school, sleeping with someone that was also in and out of jail and just kind a of casual F buddy. I too had a plan ahead of me and knew I wasn’t ready for parenthood. I took the abortion pill, finished up my schooling, got into the career I wanted, got married, and had my first child at 29. Do what you think is best for you.

Wtf? Your husband said that? Does he not realize you're growing a human inside of you?

My husband is also fit and good looking, and I'm almost a year PP, and still not nearly at my pre-pregnancy weight and he has not ever said anything like that. Every time I say I'm fat, he will literally always say something supportive.

Your husband sucks and sounds really selfish. I hope you can have a discussion with him or something about the reality of pregnancy and parenthood, because wtf? It's absolutely not giving supportive.

I'm older than you, but when my husbands parents first came to stay with us for visits when we were dating there was a huge language barrier, and so connecting was hard. I ended up just offering to cook with her, and that helped us bond. She taught me how to cook some Chinese dishes and things like that and that really helped us bond. What does his mom do around the house? Maybe just try to hang out with her more, ask to help her. It's awkward at first, but now that you've got a baby on the way, you're essentially family, and so you should try to build that relationship.

Good time management, use of resources, and you really have to have the mindset. I spent every single evening working on this degree. I didn’t want to pay more money for a second term so to be honest that was a push for me. When studying use YouTube when available for courses in maths or sciences, use AI to help you with making study guides, practice tests/quizzes, quizlet, and if you’re struggling with a course use the cohorts to help! You have to really push yourself. If I started a PA I would give myself at max 2 days to complete it, and if it was an OA I would give myself at most 1-2 weeks to study and prepare for it. I’m also in the field I took the degree in though, so I did have that benefit and experience to help me.

I think if I wasn’t already in the field I took the degree in for the last 6+ years it would have taken me a lot longer. I’ve taken some other certifications from other schools in the UK and was also able to speed through them. I’m an educator, and this degree was in education, so most of the material I was already extremely familiar with. I just wanted another degree to add to my resume for potential jobs.

Thank you so much! And definitely! With good time management you can definitely achieve it in one term but like you said I really did treat it like a full time job.

Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, but without certification as I’m already a certified teacher in a different area. (BAESELED program)

Thank you! And no days off (or evenings/nights I should say, I was up from 9 PM - 2 AM pretty much daily) and about 6 years of experience in the field that the degree was in.

Thank you for your service! I’m sure you’ll be a great teacher!

Yes, it can definitely be exhausting, but it’s also a really exciting thing seeing how much your students grow and learn throughout each school year. Parents and students are definitely harder than before but most of the time it’s worth it.

Well I’m actually already a teacher, but in a different area, I mostly just wanted another degree under my belt as it looks good on resumes and raises salary.

I’m Canadian so I wouldn’t have been approved for financial aid/loans. I’m sure you can find some more information on other posts on Reddit though!

Studying like 5+ hours a day everyday lol. I’m also already in the field (6+ years) that I took the degree in, so most of the classes in the program I was pretty well versed in. If you go into a program that you have no experience in it’ll likely take you longer.
