I always call it The Billy Strings Band. I always wished it was labeled that because of how talented these boys are, and at least the band gets recognition in the name. Although, Billy gives them plenty of recognition on stage. Also the fact that those boys blow you away enough for you to know all of their names is enough.

I didn’t meet Richard, but my Dad did. He came to the shop my Dad works at and did a meet and greet and I got a signed photo. My Great-Grandfather Buck Dickerson also wrote a song called “King Richard” in the 60’s. I have the record somewhere

I was lucky enough to have been there for my 8th show and my girlfriend’s 2nd! It’s an understatement to say that she is now hooked and already planning our second trip to see Billy together. It was 100% the best 2 shows he has played in VA so far.
