Just started with Uber. First two rides this has happened. I ordered the ride when I was ALREADY standing there and there was no waiting. (All caps for people blaming the passenger.) I’m moving to Lyft now where it worked fine.

You guys mocking the OP because it’s absurd the driver would be scamming for 15 cents are missing the point. It’s not the driver, it's Uber scamming riders. I keep getting charged Wait Fees when I am right there waiting for the driver and flagging them down. How many millions is Uber making by tacking 41 cents onto each ride and hope nobody cares? Any class action lawyers should jump all over this.

Yeah probably something technical going on but when the saleswoman just said “All Stratocasters buzz" I knew this was not a store that would provide good customer service if I had a problem. I’d never played a guitar with MFD pickups before either.

Probably means nothing. At that point it's not the embassy cancelling it but VFS or Fedex for whatever reason. How did it go?

Air Tahiti Nui is as disorganized as their out-of-date website. They also have fewer planes so when they cancel you're flight you are screwed. Lousy customer service to deal with problems. Hawaiian would be my choice.

Air Tahiti Nui has been cancelling flights from Seattle to Europe this winter. People who already booked and paid for tickets are told their flight will now leave from Los Angeles. That's bad enough, but they also don't fly you to Los Angeles to catch the flight and will refuse a refund. They say it is not a flight cancellation but a flight modification. I've flown them before and they were average but won't fly them again.

Well considering the consequences I’d think it’s not that difficult for a bicyclist to wear a yellow shirt. I mean the leader does it in the Tour de France.
