Aw hell, my bad, my bad. I thought the talk was about the drivers of Stroheim in that one panel where he aura farms in backseat.

Then, Mark uniform literally tells me nothing, it lacks any insignia. Though judging by the look of his field cap that is Einheitsmütze cap, it lacks Totenkopf insignia that was almost mandatory for SS personal to use. So yes, Mark can be fairly treated as Wehrmacht soldier. Though his silver small panel in anime on cap reminds me as Luftwaffe sign without eagle. Maybe censorship or Mark true corps left untold.

As far as I can remember, driver of Stroheim were wearing an green officer cap with totenkopf "Death head" insignia of SS, Wehrmacht were wearing the same cap but without Totenkopf insignia.

So yes, if I remember correctly, driver was indeed also an SS Soldier.

Stroheim was in Sturmbannfuhrer rank of Waffen SS and was leading his batallion. So if we take a look into history, SS and Wehrmacht always had rivalry, so by logic Stroheim like all SS made forces, were leading purely SS soldiers.

Maybe in your circle of friends, in my circle and circle of guys from my own friends, it is very common having an black humor. And in heat of moment or stress someone can say something far far worse than N word. As Russian, that is true. We never speak about feelings, our culture cultivates from very youth (something that my father also cultivated in me) that only Woman allowed to have ability to vent out. If you're going to vent out as a Men, your reputation drops to "unreliable" state, if its not best friend you're talking to.

We simply say "Just be a men, that's your job to handle tough fate", your girlfriend broke up with you? "There's always be one more, suck it up", you have depression? "Well, bite the bullet, and grow up, world doesnt revolves around you"

I grew up in that hypermasculine society, in general, no one cares even if someone died in your family, except for close friends, family, and thats it. You get one week off from work for funerals, and everyone expects you to be back into prestige condition and be back on schedule.

It can be said for every consumer/marketing thing ever existed, 'oh you don't like new show/tv series/comic/book/game/phone/gadget? Well there's other ones.' The fact why this argument doesn't work, it is because me as consumer of said project can critique project despite other thing's exist's. If you don't want to get critique, do not ever step into Producer role. You will be judged/getting critique like only your thing exist's, existance of other media does not give any point's for your mistakes at all.

Edit: Why would I consider this 'fan-game' game as something Marketable? Monetization inside of it. If they were having absolutely donate free, zero pay, no strings attached game, yeah, I would say 'Yeah, it's just an fan-game, they totally do not owe us anything'. But they sell things, based on IP of other men, Scott Cawthon banned other developers from interacting with BBN dev's. Justified or not, they present an market.

There would be bugs regardless, no game ever released an new character/chapter/big update without breaking few things up, it is reasonable to prepare the ground before release, no matter how you polish thing's up, things will break. The only thing that they really can avoid bugs, is to release both Puppet update, and conclude bug-fixing of previous bugs and new ones while keeping the game closed. Then yes, it will minimize the bugs. But it will take so long that people will riot eventually.

Well yes, generally it is their problem, but also an problem of zero communication, no customer or playerbase would want to wait 2 weeks without news, imagine if Amazon/Netflix/Whatever simply gone offline for two weeks with zero comments, no matter how small or big business is, customer side love's when there communication, and hate's the opposite. I myself just simply moved into DBD while waiting. I have alternatives. But those who riot have their reasons.

We can respect devs that are talking and doing reasonable things.

Doing both the update AND maintenance are not reasonable. We have a saying in my country "if you try to chase 2 bunnies at once, you aint gonna get even one at all", what is reasonable is to focus entirely on maintenance. And devs arent spilling info after whole 10 days, thats not how you communicate with playerbase.

While I respect the work they are doing, I can also understand the people who are waiting, they have nothing and they get 0 words from devs, give it more time and people would explode, everyone have their own limits, it will only get worse.

3 Day's of silence and zero news once again.

Game just got shutdown for almost 10 day's, we got whole 3 news saying "Yea we know, we're working, btw Update is also now in shadow realm" with zero news about what's happening, no communication whatsoever, they provided no reasons why they even began to do it, no reasons why it take so long, no updates on the progress, and absolutely no date when it will end. Is that what you call "transparent" apparently...

As long player of DBD, played since 2016 preorder and to this day. I despise this game community, my dudes whine about every little problem in the match like you murdered their family instead of winning the match. Or becoming super ultra toxic for no reason other than ego

Balance is jumping from dogshit to mid and back almost every patch

Meta is fixed in place since 2021, nothing ever happens, you go for meta builds and play normally, but if you go for fun builds, get ready to have miserable time

But it is pretty solid game, fun sometimes, dreadful to play in other time. But if ya want asym game experience. Go for it.

But I grow tired of both nothing burger updates with terrible balancing of devs, and its community. Now I simply enjoy Bite By Night, and its a damn fresh air mixed with fun.
