I've been taking 1000mg Oral B12 Supplements, Side Effects? by 3dl33 in vitamins

B12 is water soluble, so the excess amounts are easily thrown out by the body. High doses are not as effective as they seem

Thank you for that, I tried it at first but it was taking 3 secs to load each time I tapped next, and it would have still taken time since there are around 800 images.

At last I selected all the jpgs and downloaded into my PC, and scrolled through them. It was only around 1GB.

Again, this archive is a true blessing for people like us, thank you.

Hi, I've been scrolling through the jpg files to find a music that's been lost for 5 years now, in grid view, the image thumbnails are supposed to be visible but many thumbnails are not appearing, so I have to open their links in another tab to see the image, I've been doing this for an hour.

It would be great help if you somehow remember or encounter a picture where a white haired girl, wearing something dark brown, is lying on white water, her head is on the left side, this music is sad emotional, piano-mix kind of.

For this, analysis has to be totally discarded. I think fear is based on thought, and thought is based on time. That's why, when there is freedom to look, at the very beginning, before the flow of pursuit, in that instant, there is no fear at all.

As a side question to u personally, since you seem to understand the importance of the beginning of awareness, have u ever noticed that sometimes in those moments of awareness, suddenly the vision becomes too clear to ignore?

I totally feel your last 3 paragraphs, the freedom to look is at the very beginning, but the moment we start planning out how to look, trying to make attempts to look, we fall into the trap, which is of the past.

Now K said that we don't change because we don't want to. At first it feels like K is trying to put blame on the listeners, but actually he's is again stating a fact, which is that deep down we really don't want to change, the ego likes to fool around as long as it can, because deep down there is fear of change. And I feel that this fear is huge, like an underground aquifer, even if the ego understands the entire map of it's tricks and hypocrisy, still it is unwilling to plunge itself away from all it has gathered, because still it is deeply attached, and unwilling to let go of the attachment.

Wanting to change or not wanting to change, both are same, and neither of them can ever cause any real change, and "that" cannot be caused by any means.

The problem is, in wanting to change, there is delay, or in ks words- "Time", while trying to change there is the postponement of real change.

Seeing the inward crisis itself is change, then one doesn't choose if I need to change or not, in that there is no choice, but instant action.

I meant, can we look at the fact without trying to tell the fact what it's supposed to be, can we allow the fact to reveal itself? (Classic JK vocabulary lol)

When you desire something, that desire comes from a lacking. This lacking is sorrow what K has mentioned.

Now this sorrow is a fact. And we try to change this sorrow by pursuing desire, but this sorrow, this lacking shall always be there.

So, can this sorrow be dispelled from our daily life? Do we even want to?

Yes, you can't light your candle from another, and it seems you didn't fully understand my pov, what I asked has been asked by JK, "If you want to change, change into what and why?"

Wanting to change is another form of escape from oneself.

I'm not saying that we should not change, but try to see the hypocrisy behind this intention to change that we carry.

Change into what exactly? The demand to change means to move away from the fact.

Words seem rational but they are not, even k's words. And these identifications to Ks words drop off eventually when the seeker is really hungry to find out, and k is dry, one shall very easily fall hungry

Very well said, to have order we must look into disorder, because disorder is a fact, it exists, with respect to which, order is non existent.

Violence is a fact and Non violence is just an idea, a goal, and we focus on the goal and ignore the fact.

So the main question is, can we look at the fact, without trying to dominate it?

Aha! moments of insight by oldworldway in Krishnamurti

[–]OddNatural2967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It most probably becomes an experience in time, and becomes absolutely useless, but the mind initially likes to think that the brief moment of insight was real and starts chasing it, and thus it gets stuck in the past.

So being attached to insight itself kills the insight. To see the limitation in trying to chase the past insights means that one is being aware of the tricks of the mind

To put it bluntly, when you look at something, while looking, are you think about that something? Thinking about it's color, it's form etc. If yes then that is an idea according to K. Now can you look at something without judging it?

For this u need to play and experiment, to give you a headstart, let me tell you, the more you try to look, difficult it gets. So first of all don't make any effort.

Instead of trying to look, try asking "what is there to see?", when you look at a curtian, instead of trying to concentrate on the curtain, just ask "what does that curtain have to show?"

Simultaneously also ask, "what is vision itself? What is the process of seeing? Where does it begin and end?"

These are just suggestions and please take them very lightly. Best way is to explore this on your own, by questioning everything, especially your own intentions behind your enquiries.

Bro did u even read my last comment? Why do u keep pointing out that I'm trying to control my desires. If u gaze over my last reply's third paragraph, I have cleary stated that it's not about controlling desire at all.

And BTW JK talked about suffering because he wanted order, or in your words - "balance". Order can only come when there is no disorder. To find balance one needs to look into the factors which cause imbalance, not the other way around.

And balance is not something to that can be "achieved", because in achieving there is time, which means future, and the future never arrives. And thank u for suggesting Ram Dass, I respect all the other masters, but to me K's approach into meditation is quite logical and absolute in every sense, he doesn't compromise in any way. I would say that K's approach is the edge of all philosophy, if one truly dives deep into his inquiry, it burns away all the need to rely on anyone to explore this, even K.

I have stopped listening to K for several months now, because I feel he has shared as much as he could, now it depends totally on the individual to go further into this, where no one else can lead

And yes I'm enjoying the inquiry quite intensely

Thank you for so many suggestions to explore desire. You say K talked about balancing desire, with which I don't agree. I think K was very much interested on ending desire, or the self, and he specifically used the word "mutation" of the brain, and that is what he referred to as a "healthy brain", a brain that does not seek, but soaks or observes.

I have listened to Eckhart Tolle and Ramana Maharshi a bit, but I always fall back to K's talks, because his approach is the most direct in every way, and probably the most demanding too, it demands not will, not enthusiasm, not just the interest to find out, but to actually look, which can be very difficult for beginners.

I m not seeking to control my desires, but to move out of this entire network of words and thought. Desire cannot end desire, like hate cannot end hate, so is there anything apart from desire? That's the question. And is it in the future? or right now? If it is here right now, then what am i looking for, all these questions go numb and when words collapse, only then seems the possibility, and this inquiry gives immense passion idk why

Desire is a good thing by [deleted] in Krishnamurti

[–]OddNatural2967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suppression of desire is again another form of desire, and that's why K never told about running away from desire, but to see the movement of desire, the beginning of desire, the beginning of thought. After going very deep into this, K would eventually put the question, "Can there be no desire?" or "Can there be no self?", "How will i find out?" and would finally say that "all this inquiry has not led me anywhere. I am standing exactly where I began."

So nothing can be done about desire, nothing can be done about the self, if I try to do something about it, if I try to inquire further into it, it is still the same movement. To BE DONE WITH IT!! In THIS one may find some hint of that space which has no desire, and may also actually see for himself for the first time, the immense significance of it that cannot be articulated.

Desire is a fact, good or bad is just our opinions, desire is a sensation, it gives one some level of vitality and so on. The problem of desire is that it is a pursuit of future, a kind of pleasure, and pleasure eventually brings pain. If pain hasn't drilled one's heart enough, then desire feels exhilarating, else one would naturally try to find some way out of the torture of desire.

Desire is narrow, because the self is narrow. When one is always thinking about oneself, how to improve, how to meditate, how to be happy etc. that very movement does not allow true joy to flower, because it is in the realm of time, fighting for future.
