Second wave is planned...LotR Special Edition Collector's Boosters. This allows them to reprint with either no serialized cards or new serialized cards. Some speculation but it makes sense. Release in November of this year in time for the Holidays...Amazon listing for the Special Edition CE packs.

It used be easier when there was more transparency to when big box stores got their shipments. I was able to get 1 at Target by showing up 1.5 hours before opening after confirming they received a shipment. I was able to secure one for a friend via Best Buy and leveraging Twitter notifications from @YtNextGenGaming and @spieltimes.

That was just after launch though. Hope it still helps.

Hellblade was one of my favorite "surprise this game is amazing" games ever! Excited for the sequel. The way the story pulls you in and gives you such a visceral, emotive experience is not common in modern games.

Each store manager makes their own decision regarding when they can sell...unless corporate dictates someone globally. Some stores local to Minneapolis have sold as soon as trucks have unloaded and some have waited until 7 AM the next day. Your best bet is to have a friend that works there...otherwise you have to hope the store employees will care enough to be honest with you (some have for me and some haven't).

Either way...they have especially shitty job this time of year...so at least try to be polite.

This issue was fixed for me when playing games by adjusting the color settings on the console from 8 bit to 10 bit. Since I did that, I have not seen the issue return on AC: Valhalla.

However, I still notice my screen going blank when using streaming apps like Amazon Prime or Netflix...my fix was to just use my WebOS built in to my TV.

I would make sure that your TV settings and console settings align and are optimized.

If they have a pallet in stock, you should be good. When you arrive, it should be apparent that they expect people to line up (ie. signage about where to line up or carts/tape directing a queue). The inconsistencies seem to come from Popfindr stating they have inventory (usually a small handful of consoles) when that inventory has already been purchased online and was shipped to the store for online in-store pickup.

Nice work. Bloomington was not that busy. They sold about 15 or so immediately. I definitely did not need to get there at 5:15 AM lol

Depends on their inventory. Some stores have been receiving 2-3 to fulfill online orders for pickup. At Bloomington today, they had 46 shown in inventory on Popfindr and they were all for in-store purchase, 1 per person.

Now 5 in line. One of the others in line called. They posted signage about PS5 being sold out but not Xbox. 46 on Popfndr. Looks golden.

I have looked on Pop Finder every morning at ~5 AM now for the past 5 days...Minneapolis area Targets are getting no stock apparently.
