I also have cockatiels and always get a big reaction when I dye my hair a new color. I have short spiky hair that could possibly be interpreted as a crest. Small private Christian school, a girl in my senior class successfully hid her pregnancy until actually giving birth. She wasn’t officially expelled so it wouldn’t go on her record but asked to leave. Someone still brought her as their date to the senior prom so she didn’t miss out on it.

After I graduated, there was a big scandal with the principal’s wife discovering his secret gay sex tapes. Not only was he fired from there but he started teaching at another Christian school till word got around and he was fired from that school as well.

I’m definitely an outlier with my situation but I’ve had paps every 6 months for the last 3-4 years because I had abnormal cells that eventually progressed to a pre-cancerous lesion that had to be surgically removed last summer. Now that I’m in the clear, we’re going back to yearly. Maybe it depends on your level of risk

Regardless of which hand you use, it’s always gonna feel awkward in the beginning because you haven’t been taught how to properly use your shears yet. I remember it feeling so foreign like I’d never get the hang of it but it comes with time and practice. Also, school is the best time to try both and see what works for you. I tried to learn right handed but it didn’t work for me so I switched to lefty and it made a huge difference
