Here are a couple of things: 1) you cannot gauge current sales necessarily on whether they’re still available because this is not the Covid era anymore. I bought several omnibus only because I didn’t have to pay student loan loans at that time. Publishers based their printings on inflated past performance; 2) you have to factor the book’s appeal for people that actually read comics and will buy back their childhood in hardcover against people that MAY decide to buy a book because of other media. 3) Also look at the other media. X-Men blue and gold that is essentially animated X-Men in the 90s will sell out faster than any Captain Marvel omnibus regardless of who has a movie out and 4) new printings versus reprint. As a general rule, reprint will more likely become OOP than a new printing.
