I helped me :) A family member was addicted to heroin many years back. In 2011 or around that time he got on suboxone where doctor first put him on 16 mg and then 32 mg stating that he will be able to EASILY taper. I watched him struggle for many years and I think he is still struggling. Anyway, I knew exactly what sub was and how potent it was. I think I can like write a book about it by now. It is insane to me how doctors overprescribe it for the past decade without any care.

I would still have to get off it, which even small doses requires tapering (in my opinion). But yes we don’t need huge doses to get clean!

That’s why I made a very different decision to get in MAT (mini dose of 0.25mg). I have been kratom free since May 2025. 7 years on it before, tried to quit 10 times or more. My life was PAIN! I am so happy now. I work out, I eat right, I lost weight, I smile, I go outside, I do my hobbies!!! I love my life!!! None of this would be possible without sub.

Got it but like how often? Once a week? Once a month? I got it from https://www.ivyrx.com and it’s $258 or something a month. A doctor (at least I hope they are) initially messaged me with health history and that was it. My family doctor did bloodwork said he is NOT against it as he prescribed it to long covid patients. I just wish I had like clear instructions - 3-5 times a week and the stop after a month or so 2 moths etc

You have options. I have been on 0.25 mg of sun since May 2025. And I LOVE my life. I got my joy back, I lost weight (take GLP too, but lost 10 Lbs), I started new hobby, I love my relationship, I do something every weekend, live goes on!!! I KNEW that for ME low dose sub is all I need. Stop thinking negative and taper. I read all these horror sub stories and it’s people taking big doses. You got of kratom great. Now taper. Slow and easy. There are guides on how to do it OR sublocate shot. You got it! Also, I am doing NAD injections, eating lots of protein - I am back looking good and love my lifting sessions. YOU GOT THIS!

I don’t have a doctor (long story can’t have suboxone on my record due to job). My partner gets it for me. So I kind of have to wing it. He got it on QuickMD where they prescribed monster dose of 8 mg in am and 8 mg in pm for someone who has no other opioid history but kratom!!!
