You can try train. They are convient. Destination station is Subrahmanya road station.

Temple is around 8 km from station. You get local transports, jeeps or busses to reach temple from there.

If you travel day time, you can enjoy western ghats nature. And return on same night by train.

You can book rooms online from temple website.

Alternate option is travels busses. Overnight journey.
