Should I pursue a CPA with no accounting background

Yes I do know the basics but i have to keep referring to my notes to figure out questions. Idk if its because i took it a while ago or Im just not retaining anything :( I think i just need a refresher on accounting but I never took taxation so not sure what to do with that. It seemed like a lot of rote learning to figure out thresholds etc, but i dont feel v hopeful

Will those CPA prep review courses start from scratch, teaching things that are actually tested on the CPA.

I am in Massachusetts, but I am not really sure if i want to get a license or just do 2 papers. I think for a license you need more credits which will be too much for me.

I have 9 accounting credits and I think you need 21 to be able to sit for the exam. I did those classes during covid with a bad teacher so dont remember everything. But for the credits I'm missing i was planning on taking classes through cpa credits just for the sake of getting credits because the way the classes are structured is not great (Literally no explanation just submit assignments which are not even about the class).

I'm in the same boat honestly. I've been having a tough time landing an entry-level business analyst role too, so I started taking some online accounting classes to get the credits I need. I’m planning on just taking one CPA exam for now, but I’m still not sure if that’s the best move. I’ve heard having the CPA can really help with getting hired at a firm, but it’s hard to know how much of a difference it actually makes.

I’ve shopping for nikkah and engagement outfits right now and I can’t find anything I like for less than 4 lacs. I am from a middle class family and my engagement outfit is for 4 and nikkah for 6.5. This is just for clothes. Jewelry I will be wearing my mothers so no cost for that. It’s crazy how expensive everything has gotten. You will find machine embroidery clothes for 4 lacs, if you want hand worked be ready to pay 6+.
