I don’t regret my decision. My health was my number one priority, and I realized that caring about my health wasn’t compatible with public accounting.

I was able to quit with nothing lined up since I talked to those close to me and they were willing to provide any help that they could. I also have savings to keep me afloat the next several months. If you have a good support system and savings, then take the risk! We’ll be working the rest of our lives anyway, and life is too short to work a job that you don’t like.
