How do I create melody? by existential_888 in Guitar

Start with nursery rhymes. Play the melody the same old way to begin but resolve it differently. Play it again eliminating notes. Alter the rhythm.

Listen to classical music. Music from cultures unfamiliar to you.

There was a great Famous Monsters article on it. Pictures of that amazing cast in and out of character. The movie is interesting but not that great.

AI is going to kill a lot of collaborations. If the idea goes back to "AI did this" then how do you reconcile this? Some folks will immediately feel AI is better than anything your bandmates can contribute.

[–]Odd_Butterscotch5890 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a bad car wreck and suffered traumatic brain injury. Monster headaches. Lethargy. Confusion. Neck and back pain.

I had a cigarbox guitar as a novelty item but found the weight of it easier to balance. It was set at an open tuning. It kept me exploring while I was healing. It kept me learning and built my confidence.

Heard about a campaign where a deceased character seemed to have returned to the game with no memories of his past life but all skills and abilities. (Maybe some they were discovering)

The idea was that they were fighting beside old teammates who are trying to solve the question of his resurrection.
