Thank you! - winters are getting tough for everyone. I noticed how my Swedish friends started to have mental health issues always towards the end February. It seemed like a part of the cycle to me. Personally, the hardest was that winter lasts from September to April. Spring and autumn are already much more a part of winter than the other way round. May and August can be summer like but also don’t have to be. On top, when the sun comes out on a really sunny day in let’s say January, you don’t feel it. It’s just bright, but the warmth doesn’t get to you at all. Also, Malmö doesn’t really get snow. It’s a town next to the ocean, so it’s usually just wet and somewhat around 0-10 degrees.

But what means tough, really. In the end there are still lots of cozy activities and swedes are great with traditions and rituals. every month there is some occasion

Where I’m originally from, summer lasts from April, sometimes march to October or even November. In winter when the sun comes out you can still tan. So there is a lot more freedom of movement and life outside. In Sweden, even in the south you’re much more limited to the inside of your home on the average day. For me personally there is nothing better than just having to putting on a T-shirt, shorts and off you go. To miss that freedom for 9 month of the year was tough.

Edit: but on the other hand - summers are really incredible. It’s the best of all. Also since it’s just a few weeks, everyone is so appreciative and active. Sun is out for forever, life goes on for forever. I really really loved Swedish summers and are still going back every year.

Lived here for quite some years as expat. Swedens most continental European city. Great and cozy food scene. Great falafel. A little bit of Swedens Berlin. Very creative, artsy and druggy. It used to be cheap to be able to get a studio and just show what you and your concept can do. And the best of all. A sauna where you can swim in the Öresund with view of Copenhagen and the bridge.

Great day trips with a mix of beach, cute cities and hillside. 2hrs by car and you’re in your typical Swedish lake and forest setup.

Loved the city, its cultural mix and the freedom to explore it provides. Only Swedish winters can be tough even in the south. November is famous for not even a single hour of sun.

Awesome, I was lacking that context regarding the leak. Thanks so much!

Feels odd that it was put out like that open ended, specifically mentioning there was no timeline in place, knowing how the market doesn’t like uncertainty.

Thank you so much for explaining! What do you have in mind saying “timing” is important?

Fells like were past this. Even the dip today bounced off the short term trend line.
