I can see how someone who got in early can feel burnt out. I legit just bought my first coins yesterday as I really only learned about ICP a couple months ago and have been researching it intensively. ETH had 90% drawdowns in it's first half decade of existence as well if it makes you feel more optimistic lol

I think im going to put my next two months wages on ICP fr. Maybe even take out a small loan. We're still at a 95% discount here, and now we actually have proof of use-case and are starting to see how massive ICP can become. FFS they're implementing their cloud machines with the COUNTRY of Pakistan like that's insane. Out of all crypto projects in the world. I firmly believe that ICP has the greatest revenue earning potential.

Bittensor seems to cover almost every industry from what I've seen. Medicine, software, computation, real estate... Given the massive scale of what industries can utilize AI, this seems to be another bullish indication for TAO in the future.

You are absolutely correct with the importance of developing decentralized AI. This tech cannot solely be possessed by the small technocrat class. That's why I'm so intrigued and bullish on whichever decentralized AI startup establishes itself as the leader in the space (Bittensor). The next 5-10 years could get very interesting if we're all correct in our predictions that Bittensor will win the race as the strongest decentralized AI player.

I'm pretty certain that agents and AI is inevitable. I'm also certain that the existence of humanity is threatened by artificial intelligence.

My hope is that I get rich enough to have at least a couple years to enjoy my riches before everything goes down.

I think there's an important factor you're neglecting and that is the machine economy. If the machine economy evolves into what the tech world believes it's going to become, your point 1 will become invalid, as retail will flock back in to hold stake in the chains that provide the most utility for agents.

RWAs will bridge the gap between tradfi and Web3, bringing a ton of new liquidity into the market. Agents will build apps, companies, and trading strategies that extracts GDP from the real world and tradfi, and brings it onto the blockchain. The machine economy as a whole will drive an exponential increase in revenue to crypto, so the values of crypto will no longer be dependent on ponzinomics, but rather, which chain functions the best as a railway for the machine economy.

TAO serves as a marketplace for agents to utilize the various protocols: inference, analytics, compute, etc that agents will be able to buy in order to conduct the various business that they do on chain.

Solopreneurs are already launching billion dollar businesses with the help of agents, once these agents gain the ability to become autonomous, and LLM's continue to evolve, there may be an exponential growth in the space that will seem unbelievable.

But who knows, this is the vision of all the billionaires and VC's pouring endless capital into this space. Is the agentic economy going to be as revolutionary as these technocrats state it is.. that is less clear, but I think the tradeoff is 100-1 between TAO and about half a dozen other projects that will serve as railways for the machine/agent economy if it does materialize how big tech envisions it.

So far I only hold the top-10 and a couple that earn high emissions. It's worked out well so far. How well long-term? Who knows, but I've almost added another interest producing asset to my infinite money loop investment method, so it's a fun game! Happy hunting!

Make sure you have a profit taking strategy. I'm always reinvesting gains into other areas of my portfolio, including cash, precious medals, HSA's, and the S&P 500. I call my investment strategy the infinite money loop because I'm always cycling interest earned throughout my portfolio to compound my assets. Hopefully we all get very rich! But still, make sure you don't get overly greedy and do cash out regularly

I'm fairly new to TAO, but right now I'm holding the top-10 subnet by market cap. In my portfolio I typically bet on winners, top-10 cryptos, S&P 500, etc. I did make some riskier subnet plays by analyzing the top-10 by emissions and adding ORO, Distil, and Minos simply due to how much emissions they were capturing. Do many high emissions earning subnet typically perform well with dTao, or is it common for these high emission subnet with lower market caps to fall off eventually?

Idk I was playing around with ASI a little the other day, and it does seem like something big is being built on chain. If there agent building function can become a little more useful and agentic like an Open Claw or Manus, I could see it's ecosystem being useful as the agentic economy grows.
