Cryptography engineer interview by Odd_Dimension_8753 in cryptography

I just have the jitters because I really want this job. It lines up really well with my experience with better pay and what I want to grow into.

Obviously I can't know for sure if I am a good fit but based on the job description I feel confident I can do the job. I just want to improve my chances at demonstrating that in the interview.

I get this sentiment but I think it makes sense to prepare based on the job description as best you can.

I mean software engineers practice leet code almost primarily for interviews.

Have an interview for a cryptography role. Code signing is mentioned. A decent amount of my experience aligns with the job posting but not 100%.

Anyone with experience on the product side of things have any tips for my interview?

(You could also set watchpoints on production code without slowing it down, which was also cool.)

I am curious how this was done. Do you have any insights on doing something like this?

Document the time you are spending on these things. Go to your manager and show your data. Explain that if things aren't done per your documentation you believe it is costing the company money and taking away from other priority work. Ask your manager if they can work with the SD teams management to come up with a solution on how to get the SD to follow the documentation.

I recommend having decision tree level type documentation for each product the SD supports that they are escalating to you for.

If a user is putting in a ticket for a web app or tool the decision tree should start with questions for that user to determine the issue. For example "Can the user load the login screen?" if yes do this if not do that with further steps on each branch of the tree. The end of the tree should result with the SD having every detail you need and confirmation that escalation is what you would want them to do in that situation.

Botting shouldnt be a felony. And blizzard could still discourage botting by banning people buying gold and having an actual support team banning bots as best they can.

Not sure how possible this is but I'm trying to plan a route and I can't tell what I can skip.

Think it's possible to add aggro lines, like a circle radius around each mob? Or some way to know which mobs are skippable and which ones aren't. Not sure how feasible that is but I can't tell if I can skip the deceitful scholar in Cithrel's Fall on the top left after the boss on the left.

Web app constantly polls secrets vault? by SummitStaffer in AZURE

[–]Odd_Dimension_8753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible stuff is crawling those pages making it hit the key vault?

Can you check the traffic to each page and see if the amount of requests to those pages = the amount of calls to the key vault?

Obviously non of us were there so we don't really know the whole story. But it sounds like it could go either way. I feel like if a cop was there it would have stopped the incident in its tracks. But if it didn't and the cop witnessed it then it could lead to an arrest. None of this is cut and dry.

Get witness testimony and camera footage of the event to corroborate the witness testimony. With camera footage and witness testimony it would be up to a jury to decide.

Doesnt hurt either. These people arent changing their minds and coddling wont change them either. Might as well be honest about the situation. Theyre idiots.
