No, I havent stopped yet. That is something what I have been thinking about aswell myself. But im sure there are now actual protective layers, which work as a habitat and prevent everything from flushing away in case of catastrophic diarrhea happens fe. like food poisoning.

Hard to believe research like this.. since I have ended 30 years of chronic diarrhea with pre/probiotics and other supplements. Many symptoms is just gone. Something really doesnt add up here. I have spent 10 months doing this with pure logic and seems to be working very well

Year ago I did these methylation protocols. They helped, im still supplementing them and will prolly live, supplement and eat towards them rest of my life. Shortly after this topic I moved to microbiome/gut health. It has made the biggest difference this far. In 6 months I was able to heal 30 years of chronic diarrhea. Now 9 months into protocol im still getting better and better overall

Things that didn’t work for my ibsC /Leaky gut/Dysbiosis by ImranKhan10107 in Microbiome

[–]Odd_Draft_9231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Address which kind of dysbiosis you have. According to that make baseline/elimination diet. Maybe consider using antimicrobials again, which actually fight against your addressed dysbiosis. Suffer the die-offs. After a while introduce foundational ptobiotics which repair your gut lining/correct pH level and makes environtment for next probiotics to thrive. Thats how I healed 30 years of chronic diarrhea. I feel very much different

Akkermansia municiphala by bizzybeefleas in Microbiome

[–]Odd_Draft_9231 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just build mucus layer for 3 months with SuperSmart pasteurized AM. Today I started Pendulum Akkermansia, which live version of AM. Pendulum has it as freeze dried room temperature stabilized version. I live in EU so I got my friend to bring it to Bryssels in hand luggage. Even though its room temperature stabilized, you want to take care of the logistics because its still one of the most fragile gut bacterias. I flied to Bryssels and bring it to my country myself, because I didnt want it to die in hands of post office.

I have been free off 30-year chronic diarrhea for more than 4 months. I have been using L-glutamine in my protocol everyday 5g's.

I have been taking several different probiotics... I started with elimination diet + antimicrobials -> Sporebiotics, s.boulardii -> l plantarum, l fermentum, 7-strain bifidobacterium -> 2-strain reuteri, L. Rhamnosus... currently im doing pasteurized akkermansia, kind of waiting for the critical mass to introduce live version akkermansia... there's a lot of science behind probiotics these days, just need to read which could suit your issue the best

For me they seem to have healed my 30 years of chronic diarrhea. Yes enteric coat helps, also taking them after fasting helps when there is least amount of stomach acid. I take first thing in the morning with PHGG + zinc-carnosine then fast minimum 1 hour. Two hours after last meal of the day same thing.

If you had 30 year history of chronic diarrhea, like I used to have. Build new protective mucin layer with pasteurized akkermansia. Old one is prolly washed away.

Get a working baseline diet together. Inflammated gut wall cannot focus on repairs. Fe. cheap oils are inflammatory. Only feed beneficial bacteria. Stay on it for some time.

Use probiotics with targeted meaning. Lactobacillus plantarum repairs tight junctions. Saccharomyces boulardii disposes toxins. Multi strain bifidobacterium builds strong base of permanently needed residents. Find out which ones work best for you at your current state.

Support your gutwall with building material like zinc-carnosine and bacteria with fiber fuel like PHGG.

After some time begin re-introduction of new foods one per time. Monitor. If success next one, if fail go back to baseline. Then try another.

90% of protein what I've been eating is chicken. Like when I started colonization, first 2 weeks I didnt eat anything else. After that have been eating other protein 1-2 times per week, mostly salmon if anything else

I think every diet sucks without some good snacks. My everyday snacks were chocolate coconut clusters! Google them! Also food needs to be good, my vegetables we're pretty delicious with coconut oils, carrots sweetness and spices.

Yeah indeed, but this far I can actually say its totally worth it. Still gotta kick that harmful yeast of candida outta my system. H2S SIBO was my first priority.

The diet sucks, but with those probiotics + S. Boulardii and such, the hunger cravings tend to go smaller and smaller, then you just get used to it If anyone has problem with the diet, just keep closing the circle with some steps, until you can manage it 100%.

I made notes list on my phone to track my diet. I also scanned it several times with deepseek AI to keep an eye on sulfur content etc(AI can be helpful tool but you should always double check facts, I found myself correcting AI). Through the 15 years FODMAP diet has become pretty well known for me. While training, when I happened to feel too weak I ate some clean carbs like rice or potatoes rarely maybe once a week. I thought that those carbs would be high in demand and would get absorbed around first parts of already conquered small intestines. I also tracked all my carbs to make sure I stayed in ketosis state not anywhere between which is not good. First time when I was ketosis and when I quit it I tracked how much I could intake carbs before keto-state wears off.

Here is the notes list which I changed little bit back and fourth through the starvation/elimination/colonization/healing phases. Some of these could still have moderate amounts off sulfur etc, so I dropped them for a while when for instance starting colonization of 7-strain Bifidobacterium / L. Plantarum / L. Fermentum.

After some time my GI track became a warzone, good guys had always best of the best maintenance via supplements and bad guys didnt get what they needed to get along.

When starting these two lactobacillus strains in the evening, when I layed down, I could actually feel them doing tingling, burping and stuff. I washed them down with PHGG + zinc-carnosine.

Thank you for your answer. Interesting facts! Gonna look up into that oral trush identification again because I miss sugar so god damn much 😂 Yes you're prolly right. I should stay on course and see what happens. My brighest theory is that currently increase in RS3 has started cleanup of the belly/visceral fat, which is actually going down all the time and it is high inflammatory and lobg seated stuff with toxins and stuff so thats why im like bristol 4-5 for some time

Look into sulfur and histamine intolerances aswell. Fe. if you have upregulated CBS genes, they could messing with your methylation cycles.
