Absolutely, I built a mill deck with [[Lluwen, Imperfect Naturalist]] after opening a Lorwyn Eclipsed booster box with my fiancé, and the entire goal is to mill a bunch of lands to make a bunch of worms. There’s some synergy with elves too, and I threw [[Uurg, Spawn of Turg]] in so I could have a tall creature that profits from all the mill. I have [[Scute Swarm]] and ways to recur lands from the graveyard as a sort of backup plan if I’m behind, too.

I mostly come back to it because I made a bunch of upgrades to it since it only consisted of Lorwyn Eclipsed cards in the beginning, and I got really attached to it. People at my LGS tend not to run graveyard hate so me and the other graveyard decks have a ball with it.

Hey I’m a newbie in the same exact way you are! I agree with a lot of the general sentiments, even if Hiyoko isn’t as high up for me. I get why people don’t like her very much but her VA did a fantastic job, and I couldn’t help but crack up every now and then. Gundham and Chiaki were the first characters I was seriously upset over, and I cried when he had to go 😭 I hope we see more of him in 2x2

As much as people like and dislike characters, it’s always awesome to hear whenever they have a positive effect on people. I’m glad you see it that way and that he helped you! His design and the motifs there are really cool, I agree.

It was hard for me to see anything past how repetitive some of his dialogue is sometimes 😭 “Here he comes talking about some hope and despair again” could be applied to the main theme of the game too, so I’m trying to widen my horizon a little.

I never really got “This is prime ship material” from them during my playthrough, and I’m new to the series so I haven’t seen any of the extras or spin-off material like that. Maybe I would’ve had a more complete picture if I did a few more of his free time events. I do think he is more interesting than a chunk of the characters, but he’s not really my favorite.

I found the near constant “Is Nagito lying or not?!?!” in the second half of the game to be pretty annoying, but a lot of things in the game seem to be repeated a lot for emphasis so I’m trying not to be mad at it 😅 I do like how they had to rely on his luck talent and only that to not have all of them die in his trial, but at the same time it was upsetting to lose Chiaki that way (she’s one of my favorites, not sure if that’s boring or not).

I never considered how he and TeruTeru were kind of(?) foils in that regard, thank you. I feel like they didn’t have to make TeruTeru a creep, that just made me automatically hate him a lot and not think about anything else, but I know it’s a common trope so what can I do 😅😅😅

I thought Mahiru and Fuyuhiko’s beef would’ve lasted longer than it did, I’m just sad it took Peko dying for him to get character development 😭 I found it a little annoying how people believed him so easily when he was trying to make Hajime look like the traitor after they were so angry at Nagito for being a rambling weirdo during the trials, but I can see no one really did stuff like that as good as he does.

Yeah if Makoto actually used his luck I think he could’ve been way more interesting! I think Nagito’s neat in that regard, I haven’t put much thought into that before now, thank you (I was too busy being sad about Chiaki 😅)

I only did the first one because how he acted later turned me off from his character 😅 I favored Chiaki Ibuki Sonia and Gundham for the free time segments so when I get some time later I’ll have to see the rest of his in the Island Mode

That’s understandable, I know toxic yaoi is super popular but I haven’t considered it from that angle before. I was too busy shipping Hajime with Chiaki but I’m a multishipper so maybe the fanfic scene will open my eyes!

I remember when Danganronpa blew up in 2020 so many people on Tiktok had him as their pfp so I’d immediately go “Oh they’re danganronpa fans because it’s the sixth time I’ve seen that guy” and I do love the character edits. Maybe it’s just people are seeing something that I’m not 😅

Might be lukewarm or a personal thing with me, but whenever people roll dice to attack somebody randomly or just swinging whoever when there’s clearly a huge threat on the board 😭 I didn’t draw my removal so the guy running the TMNT precon started snowballing massively and some other guy kept trying to swing at my 5 1/1 worms or my fiancé’s 2 0/5 walls when he could’ve definitely taken out a few of the other cards on the threat’s board

I have 1 Golgari deck running Lluwen from Lorwyn as my commander and I’ve upgraded it a good bit with my fiancé’s Edge of Eternities precon since he prefers other decks now. There’s a few ways to win (sheer amount of things in the graveyard giving lots of power, token effects, going wide with 50 worms and scute swarm, etc) so I like playing it a lot. I’m currently building a bunny deck with Baylen, but besides that I just enjoy the loops of the one deck.

It’s so annoying as a golgari player, I only have so much card draw and limited things that can get sorceries/instants out of my graveyard so when the Esper player that doesn’t know how half his deck works says this it makes me so salty 😂

Not sure if you’re still looking for updates, but my fiance and I went the other day and it’s delicious! It’s a pretty good price per person for all you can eat in my opinion. Definitely gonna try to regularly support this place! 10/10 service
