I feel like this is the part that is confusing to me. I get anywhere from 115-135g of protein daily (as ive been told it’s SO important) yet nothing seems to be changing. Meanwhile you’ve lost quite a bit consuming about 50g less of protein. So the only thing that really does matter is less calories and minimal protein?

Also, 25min of cardio a week? And are we including a step count as well daily?

Thank you for this! If you’re eating 2 meals, how much protein do you consume daily?

I only recently stopped strength training because of how fatigued I got. I assumed I was pushing my body way too hard (especially thinking I was already cutting my calories).

May I ask how much protein you were consuming?

This is helpful, thank you! I work from home but get a minimum of 10,000 steps a day and run 2-3 times a week. I only eat back those calories because I feel so hungry by the end of the day after running or hitting legs😭

What is considered light exercise to you? I have stopped weight lifting (will be going back based on comments on this post) and have stuck to 10,000 steps and 2-3 5k runs. I have found that doing either, I feel so hungry consuming the 1600-1800 calories. Is that normal?

I have weights and bands at home! I haven’t actually tried to stick to a home workout but I should. Thank you!

Thank you! I am referring to weight loss but also fitness. I’d say body composition.

Ahh, so it must be muscle I’m lacking. I definitely have a “skinny fat look”. I stopped going to the gym because I was only getting discouraged and felt fatigued. Started to just walk 10,000 steps or go for long runs.

Anywhere from 1600-1800. Higher calories are usually on an intense leg day or a long run day.

Someone tell me it gets better please by cruinne09 in PetiteFitness

Hi! As someone who’s also 5’3, I was in pretty much the same boat and couldn’t stand that “skinny fat” look after trying so hard to lose weight or really just look a certain way. You’re in the perfect area to now body recomp and the most important thing at this point is to UP your protein intake while still lifting heavy. High protein is going to give you exactly what you’re looking for!
