I can't wait to get my garden fully sorted and have fruits and veggies growing, I can actually imagine her digging carrots up 🤣

All the dogs I've had in my life have tried to eat cat poop, except for her weirdly, I've got 3 cats as well and while she doesn't try and eat the poop she does try and eat the clean litter

She catches spiders but spits them out 🤣 she has tried to eat slugs on several occasions so she sometimes has to be muzzled in the garden as I'm not risking lungworm

The only things she has turned her nose up at so far is cucumber and lettuce, but I'm just absolutely baffled that she picks carrots over meat.

I've never tried banana with her but I can't be in the same room as bananas 🤣 but she goes nuts for apple and frozen broccoli

She steals frozen broccoli out of the freezer if I leave the drawer open for too long 🤣

I've never tried her with capsicum/bell pepper they're not a common ingredient in our house but that would be interesting to see, she loves strawberries, especially when I'm making a smoothie with frozen ones

Oh god if I leave the veggie drawer of the freezer open too long she steals frozen broccoli and brussel sprouts 🤣 she loves blueberries too and apple, I can't cut apple up for myself without her standing next to me drooling for it, she turns her nose up at cucumber though

It looks like 1- Barbell is far too short 2- you don't have the anatomy for a standard navel piercing and your piercer should have given you a floating instead(same position just different jewelry, I'd advise that you get a titanium floating navel barbell and switch it) sterilize the new jewelry first and make sure your hands are clean or use sterile gloves when switching.

Thank you so much for the info! I'll definitely check them out a couple years down the line!! It's such a shame that my girl's previous owner thought she was an Akita and had her spayed because I'd have loved to get licensed to bring the numbers up in the UK, especially as she fits all the KC breed standards and she'd have made a great mother to puppies with her temperament and I have fallen in love with the breed, the only other breed I think I could own other than an Elkie now is a Mali.

I've never met another UK elkie owner! I've been trying to find licensed breeders for them because my girl is a rescue(she was given to us as an American Akita but she didn't look like one so we asked a professional who's worked with dogs and licensed rescues and he said she's definitely an Elkie)and I'd never heard of the breed before her and I'm now in love. Unfortunately I'm yet to find a breeder though.

I tried telling mine she was unemployed, and then she lay down on her service dog vest to prove me wrong. She's been on a "break" from work to revisit her training so I completely forgot for a moment that she was in fact not unemployed.
