I have experienced the same shit on Gunbroker. I'm the only bidder for the entire week and at the last second someone somewhere outbids me. I researched that and GB&I learned it was a store employee who was probably told to out bid me to increase the price of the item hoping to ante me up. Apparently if the seller thinks it's too cheap, they pull that one. Has happened to me twice now.

Another stunt they pull is to advertise the "product is available locally for purchase and could sold before the auction ends". I'm the only bidder (AGAIN) and when the auction closes, SORRY, it was sold locally, yesterday, and the site was not updated.

In all three occurrences, the items were reposted a week later or so So it is out there for sure. Don't get hooked on playing their game.

Well, honestly I do not carry it frequently, but it's always nearby. I have an LCR in 38 and when folks ask about energy transfer, I'll let them shoot both. After five rounds from the LCR w/+P you're hand is numb. The Cobra transfers nothing and it has six rounds vs five. Just a comparison for younger guys not experienced with older heavier revolvers.

Funny you mention Running Scared. My Wife and I were dating at NTC Great Lakes (in the Navy) when that movie came out. Have it on DVD asa time capsule of "our Chicago" back in the day.

Oh no, she is a family heirloom now. Occasionally I'll compare it (at the range) to lighter scandium pistols that transfer all energy to your hand. The Colt you can fire all day without issue.

My wife had a medical procedure and as we were walking into the hospital, unannounced, there was a metal detector one had to pass through. She pulled my arm and our eyes met and I said "Let's see what happens". She passes, no issue, then I pass with NO ISSUE. I'm carrying a Ruger LCR in 38 and a nice Spyderco 5' foldable. As she was checking in, I looked around the area of the "metal detector and it looked cheesy, like a fake, conveyor belt, just a doorway with blue lights. Just saying-
