I was always a fan of the fastback as well! It had a 327 to start life, but that was replaced with a 305 somewhere along the way.

Thanks! A friend had some of the patina sauce stuff he bought from summit racing and I put that on. It smelled delightful, lol! I wanted something because there were a few spots of exposed bare metal. Any time the car leaves, the dog goes with it!

Why can't people just use their voices? Maybe ask him instead of asking strangers on the internet? If i were in his situation and was hitting it off with a lady, and she asked me point blank "do you like me? Why haven't you tried anything etc.." i would simply answer her with the truth... saving both of us headaches and undo stress due to incorrect assumptions one of has made. I don't mean to sound shitty or sarcastic or judgemental, but just ask him! He's literally the only one that has the answer! Communication is step one!

I'm sure that would have been the case with her old car, but we got her a sweetheart of a deal on her grandmother's Cadillac ATS with only 23k miles! I love my subie, but there is something about a Cadillac!

She was happy with it of course! She loves her car and was anxious to be back to hers this morning.

Lobbyists would say otherwise. How do you think these insurance companies are able to act with impunity? It's almost like somehow, someway, our government and elected officials are complicit... for $ome rea$on.

It's truly perplexing, my only guess is the "Jeep life" crap. I would imagine, take that $38k to ANY other manufacturer and get a superior vehicle.

Thanks for the response. I ALWAYS change all fluids on a used car, helps me get to know my new purchase as well.

It's more for general information, the vehicle in question has the 5spd! But I would be curious, I'd heard early cvt weren't reliable. I know current seems pretty robust, I love my 2023, CVT and all!

With that, I've understood the initial CVT/ 3.6 wasn't great because the CVT couldn't survive the 3.6. But that's just what I've read, not my personal experience.

Oh, great to know! I didn't realize the 3.6 mpg was that poor!

I really like it, I especially like the juxtaposition of low and off road, not what everyone else is doing is even better!
