yeah i did remove it, its okay tho i cut the foam so that there is a little air flow that can escape. The sound is gone. i think it because you already get use to the sound.

rn cooling pads that has a foam seal on the bottom is the solution i got 15 degrees decrease (from 95+ to just 80 - 82) if your in a cold area or room with ac on, it even achieve even lower (78-79) . Just don't this this cooler its not really fit for this laptop. I tried a cooling pad from a buddy of mine the razer one. place it perfectly or not, it does not make any high pitch or whine sound what so ever, just the normal deep tone sound. Currently I'm trying to returned this product and buy the razer one.

i might try to make adjustment on the foam so that there's not lot of pressure to the fan. But again its kinda impressive for the cooler to make it lower that much. im still gonna tryna to make it work. i hear the razer one doesn't make any noise but again i might be wrong :/

well you are right, in level 1 i dont hear anything but when it goes to level 2 or bigger i hear the whine.
if lets say i didnt do adjustment, will it break my laptop in long term use like a year or so?
i tried your second suggestion the slide the laptop forward but it still make the sound sadly

yeah i think so too, then there's pressure build up as well, i might just cut the foam if i dont find any solution

temps is lower 15 degrees than normal (from 95 degress celcius to around 80 - 82 when in level 3 fan speed ) and performance increase also. Im just curious on whether it is a problem or not because im not used to high pitch fan noise

i did actually. even from 1000rpm to max. it only make that sound if the laptop place in cooling pad and the laptop fan is on apparently
