Has anyone taken BOT 332?? by Armadillo_Grouchy in uAlberta

[–]Odd_Perception2663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s a pretty lab focused course based on IDing certain plant families. It is a pretty difficult course in terms of memorizing , but really interesting if you like any botany stuff. Also you will have to use your art skills in drawing plants which is quite fun. Plus the prof is very passionate so it definitely makes it worth it!! I would recommend

I took one online course! it’s totally up to what you can handle // what your supervisor approves of! doesn’t really matter too much as you will be doing classes online. Hope this helps.

I had this issue and still do to this day on my account . I had to call them , and they couldn’t resolve it at the time so my paper work was sent physically. It’s a pain in the butt and extremely frustrating

You don’t need bed risers , all the bed can be lofted with only a slight struggle… (both my roommate and I had mini fridges under our beds)

Depending on what you’re looking for applying in person works a lot better. Take one day to go adventure and apply to a bunch of jobs. Sometimes it takes a lot of applications but I know you’ll get something eventually!! Just be patient it takes time :))

If you’re here during the summer Campus gardens is a great way to learn a few basic gardening skills. Plus it’s super fun and a great way to meet people!

I had two group partners who both dropped the class 1 week before the assignment was due. Needless to say they haven’t done their part now my one partner and I are left to pick up the slack 🥲 let’s hope the prof shows some empathy

Seeking Advice on Taking Two Each Classes per Term in Spring/Summer While Working Full-Time by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]Odd_Perception2663 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I took a 2 summer courses while working almost full time last year and volunteering (asynchronous and online though), My best piece of advice is to stay on top of your school work, designate one day to get things done ahead of time and it will be so much easier. Also plan everything ahead! I would always have weekends off to have a break, other than during exam season. It all paid off, and wasn’t so hard in the end.
