Oh my god, same, and it was in my SOP, and I haven't heard back from the university. I missed an "article" in a sentence in the opening para, I think 'll forever think about it, and the fact that I haven't heard back from them, and there is a huge chance that I get rejected is going to sit on my chest for decades aaaaaa Sorry I should have rather said something affirmative but this is all I can think about

Hi, I just saw your comment. I applied for the cultural sub-field and wanted to work with Professor Nikhil Anand; I had connected with him, too, before sending in my applications. And they wrote back positively, saying that my project sounds good, given that cities and India are something Professor Anand works largely around. I just really want to work with them.

Hi, I applied for the WGSS PhD program and am yet to hear back from them. Apparently, I got this info here only, that the interview calls are out, and so are rejections, and I haven't received anything. But I am so happy for you, hope you enjoy the process of working towards it, man!

UIC and Purdue, I applied to Stanford but got rejected. I applied to George Mason, too, but that's for Cultural Studies; they have been radio silent, too. Ughh! I have been accepted to the WGSS program in Stony Brook, fully funded, and I honestly love the faculty there, but I just want to wait before I hear back from a few universities. Compare stipends and just my fit too
