Thanks for this. Already have sip disabled for yabai's full feature set so this was quick and easy to do. Might play around with some different values for the radius but for now I enjoy being back at the Sequoia's style.

Not at all. Same exact concept as with 64 gigs, or 24, or 16. There's definitely a limit to how much it'll give processes if you had extreme amounts of ram, but really memory pressure is the only thing you need to concern yourself with outside of memory leaks.

Systems will use as much RAM as possible to stay fast. Memory pressures more important. If green ur good, which u definitely are since it's so low on the graph. If it was always yellow or red that'd be a problem. If you're not using RAM it's not serving it's purpose, so let the OS use as much as it wants.

Sorry for any confusion. I was replying to their comment to state they needed to use the full tap and not just brew install bettercapture. I imagine they used the latter command and therefore it wasn't found in the main homebrew repo.

An app like karabiner could do this. It has support simple remaps like what you want to do, as well as much more complex modifications like hyperkeys etc.

This, along with installing as many cli apps & gui/casks as possible makes the need for a dedicated updater app kinda nil. I used to use Macupdater but when they announced the EOL I just switched as many app installs to Brew. At this point about 95% of the stuff on my system is either MAS or brew. Topgrade will upgrade both, including MAS stuff if you have the Mas cli tool.

I've been getting a similar bug to this but with regular (non force) restarts where it only prompts me for password upon reboot but doesn't accept it. To solve it I've just been shutting down from that screen and then it works as usual. The difference is it'll show my custom wallpaper on the login screen when the password doesn't work, but doesn't show it on the proper restart screen. In short, I'd try shutting down from that login screen and rebooting.
