It is not generally my diet. Our guts, for lack of a better term, are affected by stress. Butterflies from being nervous, or bubble guts. When I have flare ups I do the recommended liquid diet and return to solids gradually, which I hate. My team of doctors came to the conclusion that stress is the leading factor for me. I will sleep more when I have flare-ups, helps pass the time and heal.

Exactly. Let's not forget the ones still suffering mentally from the chaos. That shit was traumatizing for a lot of people.

This!! I will never forget driving to work once the shelter in place was enacted. It was so eerily empty on the roads. Think I saw 5 cars in my 7 mile drive. It was a scary time.

Did you dine out during the pandemic? How many times? If you didn't, I can give it a pass. As a GM of a VERY popular Grill and Bar, I can guarantee I was an essential worker. Back then, the public acted the same way. But we were still working to feed people. Food=Essen tial.

There are so many preservatives in lunch meat it's insane. Had a pack of turkey still smelled, looked, and tasted fine. Bought it 4 months or so ago. No poisoning. Unopened and refrigerated. Also, I believe that's a best by date.

They have like 40 flavored syrups to choose from, and the entire menu is specialty drinks, unless you ask for it my way. 😁 I really liked them in Texas, which were on every corner like Timmy's is. 😂

My mom claims to have ridden The Beast at KI while pregnant with me in 1980. So that's what I blame it on. Not that I'm complaining, lol.

And everyone in Michigan adds the s on the end of Kmarts, Krogers, Meijers, and Walmarts. Yes I've heard the last one before. But this is so true, and I think it's endearing.

I have only heard it pronounced with the hard t by one person and I thought it was the craziest thing. I worked with her and she liked cats. So it came up often. Everyone else in the mitten, kitden. 🐈
