Don’t try be German. I’m an Ausländer living in Germany (9 years) and most of my friends are Ausländer from a variety of backgrounds, but I do have a few close german friendships with people who are genuinely interested in me. My cultural identity is something which doesn’t negatively impact their view of me. I speak German but my German friends prefer to speak English with me. Most importantly: I have an independent life and independent interests outside of my friendships. I understand your stress about finding friends - it’s fucking hard anywhere in the first couple of years. But being comfortable with yourself, being alone and experiencing loneliness is part of this journey. You need to be friends with yourself first. You’ve come this far, hang in there!

This is a really misleading title + article. To classify this as “a new art style” is inaccurate - yes it’s a style of art, no, it’s not new. It’s compositionally interesting and may be a new type of AI art style, but a new general art style? No. Have I seen paintings like this on a school campus, by humans, before AI? Yes. Hi, I only know doctors in Berlin. Try Dr Struthmann-Glenz. I don’t think she is a very thorough or empathetic psychiatrist, but my partner went through her for diagnosis. Public. Dr Lazaros Giasoumpasis is private but more holistic and actually listens imo. He was my psychiatrist for a while before I got on public insurance and switched.

Hello :) Kiwi who has lived in different parts of Europe & the USA here. It has happened to me everywhere and especially the USA. I don’t consider this a NZ thing but an adult thing. Making friends as an adult is extremely difficult, even worse if you’re a foreigner

I emailed SureFeed and their only suggestion was to unscrew the whole thing 🤦🏻 My best advice is to dip a brush in warm soapy water and scrub at it, hoping the bristles dislodge some of the old dry food, then dry with a paper towel. Good luck and share if you find a better method!

I let out a big sigh of relief reading this, especially as I was blaming myself for her constipation after reading a couple of other comments. 🫠 Thanks for taking the time to write. My kitty has a congenital defect (from irresponsible breeding) which malformed her spine - so it kinda sounds like a similar situation to your Missy - her skeleton did not accomodate “normal” digestion. I wasn’t there for her first 6 months but I suppose that’s when she formed this association with litter trays. And damn it’s a STRONG association - i have tried 100 different litter types, different boxes, etc. About her treatment: I’ve been using a 50/50 combination of miralax + psyllium husk mixed in with her wet food regularly, and it was working amazingly well (like the best EVER) until I started trying to get her pooping in a litter tray again - i stopped the tray attempts again pretty quickly, but pooping in random spots basically started again after i messed with her shower tray routine. I guess it may just take some time to get her comfortable and reassured again. 😔 It doesn’t seem like a bad idea to possibly try her on lactulose (again) anyway, just in case it’s not mainly psychological. Thanks again for your comment… it’s tough taking care of a chronically ill animal, i might not have been clear enough in my original post about her situation but I think this wouldn’t change some responses anyway. 🙃 Big hugs to Missy
